Spacious, clean and tidy property in a very good location for the centre of Ambleside and wider Lake District.

It is always a shame when you visit self-catering accommodation and the very basics are never provided, nor is there any note from the host to advise you bring things like hand soap, salt and pepper and only a tiny amount of washing up liquid.

Spacious property with all basics available. Short walk to the town.

Not clean properly with attention to detail. Health and safety issues noticed with broken glass pieces on the floor.

Location, living room size, bedroom size, good views, kitchen in good condition.

No toiletries provided other than one hand soap in the kitchen (despite the listing saying toiletries were provided), no basics provided (tea, coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil) although you are given a 'cleaning pack' which came across as condescending and not very hospitable - we always follow instructions provided but it was a bit overzealous given the lack of other basics you are often given such as laundry detergent. They also took a £200 deposit which is excessive given the age and state of some areas of the property.

Had all the facilities you need. Lovely views. Fantastic location for ambleside literally a two minute walk in. Light, clean and comfy beds. All mod cons. Fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave. Quiet location despite being close to town. Would recommend.

Couldn't find wifi code which to be fair bothered a friend more than me but only a little.
