There's also hundreds of miles of trails all within a drive less than an hour away, including 35k acres at the Chuck Swan Wildlife Preserve with fire tower and shooting range; Sundquist Preserve with its elk-viewing tower; and Cumberland Gap’s quaint small town and National Park). Discover the remains of an old plane hangar, go blackberry picking in-season, feel the years slip away imagining what lived in the old, weathered sheds (where the cornhole set is stored), ring the dinner bell to pull people off the acreage, snap a group photo of the ancient road grader with mature trees grown up into it right where it sits.
