We had to stay in another unit because of a leak. The ceiling and walls in the new unit were covered in mold, so we were moved to a third unit. It was pretty nice, needed a few minor repairs but nothing major. The communication was good and after all of the moving, we had a good stay.

The first time we opened the door to go to the beach a small piece of trim that they had screwed into the wall fell off, revealing missing wood in the door frame. So there was nothing there to attach the trim to.
I called them right away and sent pics (we had been there less than 12 hrs). I return home to find out they charged me $343.16 for the repair stating we damaged it (it was me and my sister we are in our 50’s and opened the door for the first time to walk out of the condo)
I tried very hard to get them to rectify it. I spoke with vrbo and they tried to contact them with me on the phone and they would not pick after having just spoken to the customer service rep.
I only rent from premier hosts because I figure there is some integrity involved with the host, that is not the case. What was a great 5 day getaway turned into a nightmare.

The property is as described. Lots of dust in this condo. So bad it’s on the walls in the master bedroom. Probably wouldn’t stay in this condo again. We normally stay at Regency Tower & it’s one of the oldest condos in panama. I don’t care how new or old a place is as long as it’s clean. I felt like there was no use in contacting the owner/manager because the dust was brought up in someone else’s review. An obviously still hasn’t been addressed. I wonder if the owners even visit this unit.

While the staff was friendly, our couch-bed was broken and dirty. The frame was completely missing hardware and the mattress was found to have orthodontic rubber bands on it. I reached out upon arrival to email the contact person and was told “it looks like you have plenty of beds without having to use the sleeper sofa”. I reminded them that there was nowhere to sit with the broken couch. They were able to get the couch fixed within 24 hours but we found black mold growing on the shower head in the master bath. I, again, notified the staff. The second day, they sent out housekeeping to wipe off the shower head. By the time I left, the dishwasher had leaked all over the floor in the kitchen and the towel bar broke in the master bath. I emailed asking for at least my cleaning fee refunded and was told they couldn’t do that. It was a frustrating experience with something either dirty or broken every day of our stay. The elevators often had a wait and the pools were full as the facility wasn’t equipped to handle the amount of people lodging there. Staff advised that it’s always like that and that your fastest route is the stairs. We were on the 10th floor and the only ventilation for the stairwell is a broken, exposed fan at one of the lower levels of the stairwell. It does not work so you are extremely hot on top of exhausted by the time you got to your floor. There were old socks, food, and alcohol containers in the stairwell as well.

Our stay went very well. The a/c and microwave both stopped working during our stay and the communication and remedy with the property owner was amazing. Replied quickly and had maintenance there fast. Overall great stay! Beds were comfy, *bring an extra blanket if you are sleeping on the pull out couch.

the A/C compressor buzzes so load that you can't sleep in the master bedroom with the door closed. Good thing we weren't trying to use the hall bunk beds where the A/C closet is. Wash cloths and towels were stained brown from lord knows what and there was food between the living room seat cushions. Master bath towel rod is "jury rigged". It will fall. Whatever they are paying for cleaning and maintenance is too much.

Overall ok accommodations. Could use several upgrades. Better kitchen items, bakeware, corkscrew, new spatula etc. The sofa be is broken, the main bedroom bed headboard is broken, the main bathroom sink leaks underneath and soaked all of our towels. The condo was very dirty and dusty with sand in the sheets that were supposed to be fresh. The dryer only works some of the time. There was visible mold in both bathrooms, There were a lot of sheetrock that had been patched around the showers and a huge stain in the living room ceiling. The microwave key pad is broken, the ac unit is very loud to the point where it is hard to sleep at night, the front door to the unit is not very inviting when someone arrives, could use a coat of paint. These are simply suggestions overall we probably would find another place to stay as we had approximately 50 of us staying there and all of the other condos were in much better condition.

I loved the condo. Everything was just as pictured. I really wished we could have stayed longer than 4days. It sit in the perfect spot we literally walked everywhere we needed to go. Walmart is right across the street had a nice bar that closes at 4am right across the street lol. The beach was across the street as well. I’m definitely booking again very soon. And the price for the condo was perfect for 4 nights. The condo was very clean and the host always kept in touch. I give this property 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For starters, the bathrooms were not cleaned very well. The shower curtain in the master was mildewed as well as the shower head. The sinks were not wiped down very well. There were food crumbs under the bed, and it looked like it had not been cleaned under there in a while. The second bathroom was very dusty around the baseboards, not very good for allergies. Also, in the second bathroom, there were fingernails that were in the corner from a previous visitor that was not cleaned up. The kitchen was fine, all the appliances worked. In the living room though the cushions to the couch were stained and not very well organized whenever we arrived. Overall for the price we paid and the reviews for the condo online, it is safe to say that we were a tad disappointed with the whole experience. Not much effort was put forth to clean the property before our arrival.

Everything looked even better than the pictures! We loved everything about our stay and the location. Only negatives was some dishes were not clean, no paper plates provided like we thought, and only one paper towel roll. Make sure to bring things to clean dishes, trash bags, dishwasher pods, and utensils there was very very few, same with pots and pans. If you plan on making a big meal be sure to bring your own if you need large ones. But for our small group we loved everything about it and it was a perfect for for us!!

Clean and well-appointed condo. We stayed at the start of the off season so most of the onsite restaurants were closed but there several places to eat within easy walking or driving distance. Would come back again!

The property isn't very clean. The room itself needs some work...paint touchups, towel rack, bathroom ventilation, running toilet etc. The valet staff or whatever they were just sat there talking and playing on their phones. Didn't offer to help, didn't even move. The front desk staff weren't friendly or personable. The room did have a good view. Good location for the beach, Pineapple Willy's etc. Kind of far from Pier Park and a bit of a drive when traffic is busy. If I pay a cleaning fee, I shouldn't be required to take out the trash. I also thought it seemed silly to shut off the AC just before the cleaning crew comes. Too many kids in the pool/hot tubs. People live here and vacation here. Not for everyone. The room was cute, just needs some work done before renting it out

We really enjoyed our stay. The layout was perfect for what we needed. The location of the unit was awesome, right beside elevators and across from the rooftop pool. It was nice to sit on the balcony after dinner and watch the light/warer show. We would stay here agsin.

We had a great time! The condo is within walking distance to everything. Easy access to the beach, 5 pools to choose from, live entertainment at the main pool, and plenty of lounge chairs. The kids loved the bunks in their space. The condo easily accommodated 6. We cook many of our meals on vacation and found the kitchen to be well stocked.

Seems like the condo is needing an update and some minor repairs, holes in the wall plus the ceiling had water marks by the living room, the building it self looks dirty. The condo was clean.

The cleaning crews aren’t doing a very good job. After walking on the floor i noticed the bottom of my feet were black. I doubt it has been mopped in a while. The extra throw pillows and blankets stank. The couch was so filthy I and had to cover with a sheet to sit on it. The mattress was he hardest mattress I have ever laid on. The furniture wasn’t comfortable at all. The dresser furniture was made very cheap and falling apart. The walls are dirty. The AC system is very loud. The thermostat is old and not very accurate and need to be replaced. The towel holders were ripped out of the walls. There was a hole in bathroom wall at the floor. Very noticeable previous water damage. The place is in much need of repairs and maintenance. The area is in the Party Hub of PCB so if you like that atmosphere then you’ll love it. There were lots of young people drinking on the tenth floor pool / hot tub many of which looked to be under age. This went on every night for the entire week we were there. We had to go to the first floor to use the hot tub and pool due to the overwhelming amount of youth taking over the 10th floor area to party. Not a place you want to take a young family. Other than that the beach and weather were great and had a great time in spite of conditions at the condo. Its doubtful that my wife and I will stay at the same condo.

Place was decorated nice like pictures and location was key however was not very clean. Hair in master shower, fake eyelash on floor, sheets were wrinkled and not even sure clean. Someone's sick was on bed, cooking pan still filthy. Our last night there we came back from dinner turned lights on and saw a roach scatter into island drawer. Ended up catching it along with another live on and found more dead ones in back of cabinet. Upon discovering this seen traces of their droppings all along drawers and in cabinets. We had been eating off these plates ect.. Contacted steamboat office Wich is place to contact with problem and also the host. All we got was an apology and said the next available exterminator will be sent Wich will be after we left. We were extremely upset, mortified as now we have no idea if one of these coach roaches are coming home with us and couldn't sleep the last night knowing they could be crawling on us. Host only says thanks for letting me know we will get taken care of and have a safe trip home. To me that's not good enough. No compensation, no offer to move us. Will never book with this host nor stay at the Lakeside Wharf ever again!!! Extremely upset, disappointed and best not be having to pay for our own exterminator at home. Also resort elevators were extremely slow. Took 15 mins or more just to get to parking garage. Cleanliness of over place could definitely be improved. I'm happy family from Indiana which this was our first ever trip to Panama as a matter of fact any ocean. Fields/ Compton Family

Everything was good.. Ac worked good. The only problem was we seen a couple of Roaches in the kitchen.. it was alot and only in the kitchen area may need to spray.. but over all I enjoyed it.. next time I'll try and get a room and the lower level because the elevators are really busy..

Wow! Beautiful condo. Very big. Especially the bathrooms. The amenities were outstanding - the cardio room at the gym overlooks the water & the pool/hot tub is one the same floor with beautiful sunsets. The light show from balcony every night was cute! The beach was right across the street. Aneliya responded very fast and everyone was so helpful! Thank you, Aneliya!

Arrived at the location to get parking pass and resort passes my name was on a door in an envelope along with 12 other envelopes with other peoples names on them any body could've taken my envelopes.My next shocker was when me and my family arrived after being in the unit for 10mins we saw roaches before that night ended we killed about 7 to 8 roaches.I immediately contacted the owner and told them about the roaches,water damage, and dirty dishes and silverware that we saw to the unit.They had the exterminator come the next day to spray he got there and saw them he said what I'm spraying is not going to help he said they were German roaches he said they go through seven stages and not to put our bags on the floor at all.They moved me and my family to another unit it was alittle better but we still saw 2 roaches in there as well.I contacted the owner and let them know I was very disappointed and upset and I didn't come with roaches and I don't want to leave with roaches.

As expected, great location, a short walk, but no kids! Wanted to be able to get lunch or dinner on the beach without having to leave, so it was perfect!!
Tip to renters: You will have to make sure the thermostat is set to permanent!!
Tip to management: The super thin inside shower curtain catches a draft and it’s a constant fight to keep it off of you while showering.

Parking was a nightmare. The elevators were wet & at times smelt like Vomit.
Unit: old & used. There were damages to furniture (marks & food stains). The ceiling, wall side of dish washer (water damage) scuff marks on island. Spot on dining table & damage to the floor. All of these and more were there before we enter into the unit. We were alarmed to find the unit unlocked. It made us feel anxious & worried for safety sake. Someone had used the toilet in master bathroom and did not flush & the cleaning crew left sticky shampoo on the vanity. Quite hours are between 9:00 p.m. To 8:00 a.m. There were many people who were loud & drunk walking by our unit pass 2:00a.m. Repair men were working with jackhammers in the morning. We were told to keep balcony door closed at all time, which meant to us not to go onto the balcony. In order to use the balcony the door has to open. We had to put up with roaches in the sink and cabinets. We were reminded of penalties we would have to pay if something was broken, dirty or wrong. It came across as intimidation, being hassled & at times we felt bullied. We vacuumed the floors, washed all dishes & put them in the cabinets. All towels were washed except the one we used the morning we left. We checked out on time and made sure the door was locked. I will say the security guards were polite & helpful. I have not had this kind of experience in using Vrbo. Our overall rating is 1. We have felt coerced and pressured into giving a good rating. While given 14 days to rate; it was our understanding that Vrbo’s policy was that there is a year time limit to give a rating.
