It’s a little difficult to find but the rooms are small but lovely.

Spent 2 nights in a lovely Deluxe room. Extremely clean with the most comfortable bed ever. A great view of beautiful buildings opposite. Check in to room was easy (just make sure you check emails/messages) and correspondence was really quick. Location is fantastic - 10 mins walk to Sol square to the right. 10 mins to the Prado to the left. Literally next to the main entrance is a lovely place for breakfast and 100 montaditos (2doors away) is perfect for cheap cold beers and mini sandwiches. 100% would recommend this property.

This was difficult to locate. (The degree symbol in the address meant floor of building...) but once we found it, it was a great place to stay. Love the convenience of codes and no key. Good location. Noise insulation between rooms isn't strong so if you are a light sleeper, or that would bother you, .. maybe not great but no problem for us.

First of all, this is not a hotel as advertised. It is a hostel. Second, the building that you see as the advertising photo, is actually an office building across the street. This is misleading, when booking. The front of the building is under a lot of street construction, your always forced to walk around the work area which is quite large. Lots of street noises and sirens constantly at night. We were understanding this to be a hotel and we're confused about gaining access, as it has three levels of security. We had been traveling without Internet service, so had no idea that they sent an email with the front door code one day prior. Even if you have that code, you then enter and are supposed to call a manager that speaks no English whatsoever. No phone is provided, so you need international phone service, which we did not have. We were lucky enough to draw the attention of an American staying there. He found another guy who spoke Spanish, and he was able to call and speak to the manager for us. There is a front lobby on the ground floor, but never maned. We watched other people go through this rigorous and frustrating procedure, trying to get settled in. There's a code for front door, another code that gets you into a door on the sixth floor. And a final code that gets you into your room. The room was quite nice and clean. But this hardly makes up for being lied to about the building in the picture and the mind bending process of checking in, and the non English of the staf

Five stars for location, cleanliness and housekeeping. Sadly less for customer service. Didn't realise this is actually an unstaffed hostel; all accessed by emailed key codes that had to be asked for. Signage is poor, missed the main door at first. Lobby is spartan, unwelcoming & unstaffed with no signage at all so had to guess the correct floor! Email with key codes clearly said room 2 but the key code didn't work. Phoned customer service who said it was the code for room 6. Smaller room overlooking a rather grotty light well (room 2 was at the front & nicer)…what happened there? So. Comfortable clean room in excellent location but - it’s unstaffed & we seemed to have had our room swapped.
