Hotelul este foarte bine poziționat, direct pe plajă, servirea ireproșabilă, curat, mâncarea foarte bună și diversificată.
Ca un pont, pentru a nu aștepta foarte mult să vi se aducă mancarea, oamenii în Zanzibar se mișcă foarte încet, e specific zonei, puteți comanda din timp și să vi se pregătească la o anumită oră, asta se poate chiar și cu micul dejun.
Nu are legatură cu hotelul în sine, dar face parte din experiență și cred că trebuie menționat.
Refluxul în zona Pwani este groaznic, apa se retrage pe mai mulți kilometri și jumătate de zi ai un mare deșert.
Al doilea lucru care nu ne-a plăcut, pentru că în apă sunt mai multe ferme de alge marine, apa este plină de ele, în unele zile este mai murdară, în altele mai curată.

Herrlich am langen Sanstrand gelegen. Wunderschöne und gepflegte Gartenanlage. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Konnten beim Frühstück den Webervögeln beim Nestbau zusehen. Mithilfe bei der Planung von Ausflügen und Transfer zum nächsten Standort haben bestens geklappt. Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen. Danke nochmals dem ganzen Team für seinen Einsatz. An den Umgang mit den Beachboys haben wir uns gewöhnt. Sie müssen ja von etwas leben.

Struttura completa, cibo ottimo e preparato al momento, spiaggia stupenda, tutto personale disponibile e sorridente. Un ringraziamento alla Manager per la gentilezza e la professionalità dimostrata, sempre attenta a rendere sereno il soggiorno. Assolutamente consigliato, torneremo senza meno.

Mambo Ocean Resort is a very nice and cosy place, the rooms have beautiful paintings on the outside (the standard ones, not the budget ones. Budget ones are also quite nice). There are some standardrooms that are a bit newer, they have a double bed and a bunkbed, so suitable for 4 pax. The beds in there are for sure of better qualilty but the lights in the room are very poor and with the many beds it feels at bit tight. Those rooms are in the block of 3 that is closer to the parking lot and wall instead of the sea. I can imagine people with 4 like this room very much however! It is just a question of taste. I felt a bit unhappy about being put on there because it was not according to the image of the room that I booked, however, after that we got to stay in 2 of the best rooms! The other rooms 7-10 are closer to the sea in 2 separate blocks. The furniture is more classic and darks, lights are better. There is a double bed and one extra bed. Because there was some hassle/changes with the room I know this, I stayed in 3 different ones. The best one was 8 for me. In the block closest to the sea on the right side. The bed was good, especially the smaller bed. The staff gave it a lot of effort to provide some extra bedside lights and small tables. They were all nice, especially the always smiling cleaning ladies and one very bright lady in the restaurant. The pool is not too big but clean and warm enough to walk straight in! The beach is endless on both sides, you can experience the tides so well. The food is excellent. The other connectted resort is quite new and more modern, pool is bigger, not so much garden and trees yet. It is what you prefer!

Rooms on the beach are very small but right on the beach. Which is beautiful! Great Breakfast. I would put the property in the middle of other properties we toured along the beach. Some are Fantastic but pricy. This property met our needs perfectly.
Deluxe rooms are far from the beach. Although huge and very nice.

- L'hôtel a un gros potentiel, malheureusement il est mal généré par cet homme qui vit en Roumanie, et qui hurle sur ses clients, nous ne sommes pas les seuls à avoir eu des problèmes avec lui.
Il y a un gérant présent à l'hôtel qui a essayé de rendre notre séjour plus agréable, malheureusement lorsque nous avons appris les manigances du manager, nous ne pouvions plus nous taire.... Il est important de prévenir les prochains clients que la gestion de l'hôtel est déplorable et que le manager n'est pas honnête. Dès lors qu'il y a un problème il n'essaiera pas de trouver une solution convenable et dans le respect.
- J'ai réservé une grande chambre pour notre lune de miel et l'hôtel nous a attribué une petite chambre qui n'avait rien à voir avec celle que j'ai réservé. Il y avait de la moisissure dans la douche, le frigo, une couche épaisse de tartre dans le lavabo et la chambre était très sombre.....( ci-joint les photos)
Le propriétaire a refusé de nous rembourser ou de faire un geste commercial. Le comble, c'est qu'il a attendu qu'on paye toutes les consommations du séjour puis après notre départ, le propriétaire a signalé à Booking que nous n'avions pas résidé dans l'hôtel pour nous empêcher de poster un commentaire.... Heureusement que j'avais pris des photos de la chambre pour prouver à Booking que nous avions bien résidé dans l'hôtel. Nous avons donc été remboursé du séjour par Booking car ils ont observé que le manager de l'hôtel avait menti!
D'autres clients présents dans l'hôtel ont aussi vécu une mauvaise expérience mais le manager a signalé à Booking qu'ils n'avaient pas résidé dans l'hôtel pour éviter d'autres mauvais commentaires....
- Pour je ne sais quel raison ma réservation était pour une personne. Le manager qui répond aux messages sur Booking vit en Roumanie et m'a hurlé dessus à travers le téléphone. Le service client de Booking était aussi en ligne et lui a demandé de se calmer car il était irrespectueux. Le manager a réclamé un paiement supplémentaire de 30$ par jour et par personne alors que sur la plateforme Booking le supplément pour une personne est de 8$ par jour. Le service client de Booking a réussi à négocier avec le manager pour un paiement de 25$ par jour et par personne.... nous avons du payé au total 225$ supplémentaire (seul le petit déjeuné était compris)
Le manager a clairement gâché notre Lune de miel par son comportement...
- Coupure d'eau, nous ne pouvions pas nous doucher pendant 1 journée. Les douches extérieur autour des piscines ne fonctionnaient pas.

Rewelacyjna lokalizacja 50 m od pieknej plaży. Bardzo czysto. Obsluga mega mila i uśmiechnieta. Jedzenie bardzo smaczne. Widoki niesamowite. Cisza i spokoj gwarantują idealny wypoczynek. Mozna wypozyczyc skutery lub auto i zwiedzac wyspe. Polecam to miejsce kazdemu.

ho prenotato Mambo Resort per 10 giorni (19-29 agosto). All’arrivo abbiamo scoperto l’assoluta adeguatezza della struttura, non assolutamente un 4 stelle, gli spazi comuni per niente curati, scarsa igiene, nessun servizio, nessuna animazione, una delle piscine vuote, pavimentazione dissestata ovunque, ristorante con menu molto scarso e molto diverso dalle foto pubblicate, ma la cosa più grave ed inaccettabile era che l’acqua corrente e la corrente elettrica c’era per pochissime ore al giorno, e dopo innumerevoli solleciti la situazione non è stata risolta. In pratica non era possibile andare in bagno né di giorno né di notte per l’assenza di acqua e di visibilità di notte; per non parlare del condizionatore che ovviamente senza corrente non funzionava. Siamo stati obbligati a cambiare struttura. Ho chiesto di parlare con il proprietario che non era presente, e che mi ha letteralmente aggredito perché avevo chiesto di non pagare i giorni non usufruiti e ha minacciato di chiamare la polizia.

Food menu was limited and a little pricey in USD $. There was an epectrical probpem in room 2 and 3. The aircon and plug points did not work in room 2. Too many locals on the beach stand infront of the resort disturbing guests by trying to sell stuff.

The place is very nicely laid out and offers a true beach club experience, not too many guests and it’s comparatively small. No all inclusive crowds, no drinking. The restaurant is on the open beach side, offering fantastic views and even a pizza oven at the beach side. The manager does a fantastic job in keeping the place upgraded, installing new features such as a sun roof and shower over both pools, there are also new cottages. It’s great value for money. The restaurant team under supervisor Mr. Sajin did a fantastic job (would like to mention Mr. Nelson, Mr. Kessi, Mr. Ben, Mr. Pascal) - we come back! PS: the on-site kite surfing school is great, we didn’t have time.
Wifi could be faster but perhaps that’s due to the location. Some of the notoriously annoying beach boys are trying to do their business and approach too audaciously - suggest to broker some sort of deal with them. The only thing that we didn’t like are the prices charged for transfer from the airport to the place and back. This is over the top for Tanzania.

The location is wonderful. The beach is very wide, in the hotel area it is private and a security boy is always there.
The rooms are spacious and clean, the courtyard is wonderful and the food in the restaurant is delicious. We had dinner right on the beach, close to the ocean.

The quality-price ratio is excellent.
The hotel has 3 swimming pools, one for children and 2 for adults. I stayed in a Deluxe room, very spacious and recently put into use. I really have nothing to complain about. The staff is wonderful.

Food is overpriced and not the best, they should try making authentic, I didn’t travel all the way to Zanzibar to eat western food.
I loved the staff, they were very personable, especially Hussein In the Kitchen and the lady in the receptionist.
Place was decent but didn’t actually have that resort feel. There are so many improvements I would recommend, starting with the bedding, it was terrible, no mattress covers, very unsanitary. The manager was not personable, she seemed rude to the staff who were very nice.

Water-based activities on site. We loved hiring a scooter through the hotel as this enabled us to explore the island more independently than via taxis.
We can't thank the hotel staff enough for their kindness when we left a valuable item at the hotel - they were persistent in trying to reach us to let us know they had found it and then Pascal personally delivered it to us in Stone Town. This was exceptional service and kindness and we are very grateful.
This hotel offered everything that we wanted from a beach location. We were pleased to have booked an additional night's accommodation in Stone Town as it is an hour's journey from Mambo Ocean resort, so a bit too far far for a day trip and to enjoy the Night Market there.

Everything is super convenient and comfortable. All the staff are super friendly and approachable and their customer service is excellent, I would like to give special compliments to the staff Mr. Paschal, who has provided me warm hearted hospitality and made me feel like home. He did the service from the bottom of his heart and everything is genuine.

Not too big hotel with very nice ambiance, we had a great relaxing stay for a week ! Thanks to Paschal welcomed us always with a smile and ready to help for anything, it was great to meet you ! Also Ben was very good for making cocktails at the bar, I can't recommend more !

The property is quite lovely and has a great vibe. The beach and pools are great, too. Rooms are cleaned and decorated every day and spayed every evening to repel mosquitos. The staff are the highlight of this resort, especially Doris, Sergeant, Hussein, Nelson, and Sajin who we vibed with the most. Housekeeping staff are awesome as well. Hussein is a dope DJ who played some awesome music that added to the breakfast experience. Breakfast needs more variety, though. Zanzibar is a heaven for a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, so we were quite disappointed with what was being served as fresh juices at breakfast: the juice is being diluted. Pizza was great 💯. We didn't eat much at the restaurant, so, I can't comment on the quality of lunch or dinner. They will be revamping the breakfast menu (I was told), so let's hope so. It's about 1.5 hours drive from the airport, and if you're hoping to explore the island, I'd suggest you rent a car or 4x4 Rav or similar. There are wonderful restaurants around as well, so please support the local economy. Thanks to all the staff for a memorable stay, and a special thanks to management (Ana) and the maintenance guy who helped me change my flat tire. I'll definitely recommend this resort. It's also great for couples and families.
The breakfast menu was limited and the fresh fruit juices tasted like diluted fruit drinks. Fresh fruits are ubiquitous in Zanzibar, so treat your guests to the pure, fresh tastes of these fruits.

Great value for money. Location on the beach with enough privacy not to be disrupted by the traders that walk the beach from morning to evening. Food was ok but certainly not 5 star. Enough alternative restaurants in the area. What made this place special was their incredible staff. Friendly and accommodating.
A few small things. Beds -were very firm. Bedside tables/lights for reading. My wife sustained a few cuts during a kiteboarding incident and we could not locate a first aid kit on the premises.

It's a fairytale place with absolutely wonderful people. The staff is particularly attentive to the guests, I had a medical problem and someone at the reception called a doctor who came in about 10 minutes. The beach is private and has a security company that keeps uninvited guests away from the sunbeds, the rooms are very clean and very nicely arranged upon arrival, the hotel has 2 swimming pools and a lively courtyard. I liked it very much and the landscapes are truly a story, to be kept in memories
