The room was perfect, clean and spacious, absolutely ideal. It far outweighed what I expected. The location is peaceful and quiet, the view from the room was lovely, opening the curtains in the morning was blissful. Myself and my children felt perfectly relaxed during our stay.
Struggling to find anything I didn't like about the place. A very minor irk was that the room could have done with cosier lighting for the evening, maybe a lamp. That is a very minor complaint though.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. The room was warm.
The room was tiny. Please do not be fooled by the photograph of a large room with a sofa and large window.
The TV was not tuned in properly. I had no TV access in a small room on my own for two weeks. The "Watch live TV" put up a message that the TV was not properly connected to the aerial!!
No facilities for washing either clothes, cutlery, or dishes. The sink in the room is tiny!!
There was no seat in the room. You have to sit on the edge of the bed, even to eat a meal.
There was no room cleaning or bed changing for two weeks.

We didn't stay there, we were re-located to a room in Swansea.,after many telephone conversations.Initially with Bianca, then with Lauren. We only accessed the building by fluke. The 2 doors to the front, would not give us access ,but we found a rear door. On accessing the room,we found it to be a single room. I have by email, 2 persons. Lauren told us it was our fault. It wasn't. I never nominated a room. Booking.com, allocated the room.
Nothing.Advertised on their ,updated by trip advisor 2023,as a hotel, restaurant ,bar With many photos of food. The place was a tip. What I presumed was the restaurant, bar, was non existent, littered with builders rubble. The front door step, had days, of mail laying on it.there are rat poison boxes, set around the building. We've taken photos. The staff level is non-existent,this is not a hotel,as advertised.I paid for the accommodation 02/05, days later booking.com ,asked me for a further £150-00, deposit ,which I paid, not yet refunded. They also asked for passport or driving licence photo.I'm 76 years old. I don't have the technology to email that. So I sent my passport number.Having sorted, alternative accommodation, Lauren, told us it was for free.It wasn't for free , it was, that were weren't to be charged any different. She said where we were going ,was a studio flat, with ensuite bath,so we could shower or bath. It was a small room, along way from studio, there was no bath. There was no sit out area,no wi-fi, no off street parking, all said or seen to be available at the New Lodge. We spent the 2 days, travelling to and from Alltwen, to see family and for the funeral. At my cost and inconvenience. This has been a bad experience.

Good location, great steak restaurant ( The Butchers) just 50m away ( closed Monday & Tuesday) and a Lovely pub ( Gwyn Arms ) just 120m further away ( open every day ). Comfortable stay in a quiet location with lovely views down the Swansea Valley.

Great size room and the bathroom was huge.
The in room fridge, microwave and kettle were a definite plus as there isn’t a breakfast offering at this property.
My son and I slept very well in the comfy beds
Handy pub a few doors down that did excellent food too. Bonus!
Was a little concerned at the totally “people free” check in and correspondence via text messages to begin with ; but it was well organised and all messages were responded to very quickly. Very professional and efficient.

Good kitchen and plenty of space
Rubbish and weeds everywhere but someone did come and cleaned up a little

nice and clean. easy check in.
small shower, not enough room.

Not much
The description and pictures were misleading. It was a late booking and described a suite. It was a tiny room, with a single bed. No staff present and tried multiple times to contact the administrator for a code to get in. Part building site. Noisy when the local youth were pursued late into night by the police.

The process to book in was very unnecessarily difficult with having to give credit card details for the rooms security deposit and a plethora of questions to complete the booking which is very unusual for a short UK stay and upon arrival at the property the incorrect details had been sent making the checking in process stressful and added to the negative experience. Customer service was good but was difficult to get through which was frustrating when the booking was stressful enough.

Everything went smoothly, rooms really comfy and everything you need. Value for money and enjoyed the stay.
Was very clean & tidy. Cheap and cheerful
Had 2 rooms and had to pay a deposit on both & the refund process of the deposit can take up to 10 working days which is quite poor. The deposit was 65% of what I actually paid for the room for 3 nights. The check in was a bit of hassle as well

It is a pretty location with a number of pubs nearby.
the room is comfy and has been newly furnished.
the entrance to the side and the stairway up to room is not very inviting

The room is well appointed
The place is a building site. Most work downstairs. Accessing the building a joke - nobody tells you where the entry actually is. Access/egress to/from car park a pain due to parked cars on other side of road and builders car in car park. My television didn’t work. The light over the bed is positively dangerous. The sink is slow to drain. The shower tray becomes a pond as one showers. And they charge a £100 refundable deposit but don’t warn you on booking.com. NEVER had such a stupid reqbefore. And they’re not that quick at refunding.
