Tried checking in during their posted hours on the door and information had recieved from them but no one there. Texted them and they said a form of payment was not recieved upon booking and to pay by paypal link in text. Communicated to them had already set up payment through hotels.com. after going back and forth they finally had a code and a way to get in. When we went in, the lock was very loose and we needed to tighten the screws on the strike plate and door. The place itself was very accommodating.

We did not check-in as the place was not as described. As long as we are not charged I will not take issue as we were given the option to cancel on the spot. There was not a restaurant or bar or spa. I was told to look for an email for arrival instructions, and therefore did not check my phone for a text. It turns out that I was sent a text 10 minutes prior to check-in. The place was run down, deserted, uncomfortable & unwelcoming - actually kinda creepy. They did have a pool & a view, but not a nice place to stay. I was looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay at a nice place after a long day and this dod not fit the bill.

Amazing views of the ocean and mountain. Very nice pool with view. You can enjoy the sunset in the patio. Great for enjoying the starts at night and listening to the wildlife. This would be a great place for weddings and other gatherings.

The location is wonderful. Amazing views of the valley and ocean from the hotel. However, beds were not comfortable and very few amenities (no shampoo or conditioner or place to hang damp clothing). But the air conditioning does work and it is a very safe location.

The place is in a great location with a nice view but this place needs a lot of maintenance. The bathroom had a very loud fan and I mean very loud. If you turn it on in the middle of the night, you will wake up everyone sleeping in the room. It also seems it had not been cleaned up in years. Had a big lump of dust on the grill. The beds squeak as well. Bed is not too comfortable. Blinds to block the sun need repair. The outside of the building also needs repairs. Doors into the rooms make a lot of noise and you will be woken up by other guest slamming front doors. Furniture in the room is not comfortable either and a very small 27 inch tv. Water is the shower has no pressure. Sad because this place has alot of potential

First of all, I didn’t stay. needed to cancel my trip several days out, and couldn’t ever get through to anyone on the phone. Day of check-in, I get a text with instructions to check in, and I replied “I haven’t been able to get through on the phone, but I need to cancel this reservation.” The reply was “Your reservation is non-refundable” .. ok, not “we’re so sorry that life got in the way of your plans, let us refund you.” Or not even “we do have to take a deposit for the late cancellation, but we’d love to offer you a discounted stay in the future!” Or anything else like that. Customer service satisfaction is an absolute zero. They never answered the phone despite multiple call attempts, and the abrupt “your reservation is completely non refundable” could have even been tolerable with a phone call and some sort of acknowledgment that their process isn’t perfect. At the end of the day? They got $300 USD and lost the opportunity to cultivate a relationship with a loyal client.

The view of room outlooking the mountain/rainforest was beautiful. The hotel itself was more like a motel. The smell in the hallways were not fresh. The building was very run down. When we opened our fridge we saw cockroaches come out. The bed was hard and the sheets were old and some sheets were stained. Those sheets need to all be thrown out. The pillow under the pillow cases were stained and very unpleasant. The bed upstairs came apart after moving a few times. Overall the pool was nice and the parking was easy, the gate to the entrance of the place was unpleasant. The building itself has a lot of potential if someone really took the time to invest in it but the staff and host were nice and quick responders. A few of my friends have asked about it and I would not recommend this place or visit again. The location is great though. Whoever is the owner should consider investing more into it, they really have no idea how much more they can get out of this place.

Never saw any staff on site. Not a big deal, but it kind of leaves you on your own to figure things out. Location and views were amazing. Pool at night was spectacular. Room was large, clean and comfortable.

Property was beautiful and we felt very safe while we were there. It was conviently located. The Pool was clean and refreshing.The staff was very nice. Our room was spacious and clean. The kitchenette was convenient. The items listed for the resort were not accurate. They did not offer laundry service, no breakfast for a fee on weekends, no shampoo in room, no hair dryer, no rainfall showerhead, no safe. They list bar but you have to go to Caribali Adventure park for food or bar. It is only a few minutes drive but was not walkable for us as the steep road leading to it would be too much of a workout. :)There was also no hot water, but it was tolerable and sometimes refreshing. This might be the norm in PR, but it was unexpected. The views, the clean pool, and the wonderful staff definitely made up for the ammneneties missing on the Expedia listing and I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Our stay was flawless. amazing service, location is very secure, very clean and peaceful. Location is so close to restaurants, beach & stores. Look forward to our next visit with my teen daughter.

This property was incredible. Driving up my friends and I were in love with the views. It is very safe and secure. The room was perfect except for a minor issue the bathroom door didn’t close all the way, nothing that was of any concern to us. We loved our stay and will definitely recommend this property to friends.

The Mountain Lodge was very private and peaceful with great views. The room was clean and our balcony gave us views of both the ocean and mountains. The location made it easy to get to the Yunque Rainforest but also to the beautiful beaches on the north east corner of the island. There is a wonderful bakery and coffee shop Puertorrican Bakery and Cyber Cafe 5 minutes away that was opened 24 hours a day. Thank you Mountain Lodge.

The check in and out system is glitchy due to very low staffing. It works but you need to accommodate to them. No one on site after 6pm! Room is very spacious and cool furniture ownership view, but very basic. One light switch for the whole unit. 1 tiny lamp for each bed so not for each side/ person. It's fine, just don't expect the comfort details you tend to get in a $200 hotel room!

The property was absolutely gorgeous! The views were breathtaking! Staff was very responsive to my texts. Driving directions were provided before we arrived. Very easy to find. Extra convenient to our destinations. Property was peaceful. Definitely will stay here again.

The property is nicely located with fantastic views. It is secure and safe. But it is not easy to find and the staff that day doesn't speak much English thus communication was problematic for us. Getting in and out of the place is not easy as the locked fence is some distance away from the main office and the code was informed did not work. The room is quite spacious and looks really nice

Nice property with private parking and great location. Family friendly and plenty to explore in and around town. They’re a Walgreens and a super market near by and plenty of attractions to explore. Property is kept clean and basic amenities are available.

Property was quiet and relaxing. Very clean. Mountain road to lodge needs repairs. Some items in the room needed repair (window shade and light fixture). For TV service you need to sign into your own accounts. Breathtaking views. No spa services, no DVR as advertised. Far from local shops. No nightlife.

Rent a car!!! Or you will be spending a lot of money to get off the mountain.Taxi drivers will get lost, and the address is very confusing, but the front desk lady’s answer for questions or help. Property has great veiws, nice pool.
