NIce, clean hotel. Friendly staff, guy at the front desk is super nice. I think he is the manager as he is always there. I don't know why this hotel is rated poor, it is clean and renovated. I'd say it dates to the 1950s construction but it looks kinda cool. I have stayed numerous times, no bugs like many other hotels in Winter Haven. Also, right next to Lake Alfred, great for an evening walk by the lake.

Bit by bed bugs. Dirty carpet. Had to check out 5a. The rm shown to my daughter prior to my booking the rm, was not the rm I was given. She was shown a rm with a hardwood floor , I was given a rm with dirty carpet.
