We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was our annual cousin's vacation with my family and two other cousins families. We enjoyed the space in the house, but we especially enjoyed the all seasons room in the back where the adults got to hang out after the kids went to sleep. One thing to note is that there is a full bathroom on each floor of the house, but the two bedrooms at the top of the floor have to share a bathroom which can be a little awkward since the bathroom is in one of the bedrooms. We also really enjoy the fact that we had a snow tubing place right within the community. The ski hill is not too big but just right when you have kids under 10. The community feels really big because there's a lot of twists and turns so it can also be a little bit confusing when you initially. Aside from these amenities, the owner is incredibly receptive and quick to answering all questions and helping us whenever we needed something. I would definitely recommend this spot. And consider staying here again for our cousins getaways.

This weekend was great✨️ once we made it to the house. The house looked and felt exactly like the posting. It was perfect for my sister's bday weekend celebration.
*Guests should be patient with the check in process.
*Bring your own pots and pans if you plan on cooking.
*3 full bathroom = amazing especially when you are traveling 6 ladies.
*Bring your own towels.
*House was very clean. Our Febreze added to the air quality 👌
*Keri was very helpful and responsive. She texted and called when she was needed.

We stayed in this house for new year celebration with family. Love it very much. Clean and comfy beds. Kids loved basement game room. We hiked around. The neighborhood is quiet

Check-in process and communication was wonderful! The property was a little further out of the way to some amenities than we originally anticipated, but we managed. The Northgate entrance was closed during our stay (out of owners hands) but we were compensated for the inconvenience with an earlier check in and later check out which was nice.
Kids and adults enjoyed the game room. Beds were comfy! House was clean.
**Things to note - no bathroom towels are provide. There’s also no outdoor fire pit.

Rented this property to attend a nearby family reunion. Communication with the owner was so easy and set up for entry, etc., was extremely seamless. The house was beautiful, clean and had a lot of space! Lower level with pool table and air hockey was an added big plus. Everything you would want or need was included. Wonderful space and I look forward to returning!

This property is not only beautiful on the inside but outside as well. The house seems to be recently renovated with comfortable and plenty amenities. We had plenty of room for our party of 10, in town for a wedding. The local towns, produce markets, hiking trails, and more offer plenty to do during your stay. The owner was great and easy to work with.

We had a wonderful time staying. House is beautifully decorated and the layout lends to wonderful family time. Just wish there was a grill. We will absolutely stay here again! Thank you so much

Once we arrived at the main gate of the hideout, it Took an hour to find the house due to road closure and not being given proper instructions. North gate road was blocked off due to construction with no warning ahead of time. What should have been easy travel to main lodge, beach, etc. was a 15 ordeal due to detours from the house itself.
When we arrived, the house stunk of wet animal. There were also multiple piles of poop outside that were stepped in (unsure if it was from dog or wild animal) as they were located in parking area. There were toenails on the couch cushions and cobwebs next to bedroom doors. Kitchen utensils had old stuck on food on them and only one roll of paper towels was given.
Quickly ran out of hot water after washing breakfast dishes and a couple showers.
Temperature was comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Nice loft area with futon overlooking living room. Hideout amenities are nice options for free time. TV sound mediocre and sounded as if speaker were blown out.

This home is in a good location in the hideout close to the beaches, recreation areas, and pools. The owner Keri was very easy to get in touch with and it’s great that there are enough recreation badges for 10 guests. We enjoyed the beaches, pools, on-site club house restaurant and walking trail. There are plenty of restaurants and breweries within 20 minutes of the house as well.
There’s plenty of room for 10 people to sleep and the convenience of 3 full bathrooms. The basement game room is a great bonus for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed and every room had a smart tv. The house has individual ac units in each room which kept the house comfortable.
The only things that were negative was that the house is a little worn out (this is why we rated the cleanliness a little lower - older bathrooms and carpets) , it’s dark, and there’s no bbq and not much usable outdoor space.
Overall it was a good place for our family vacation and we enjoyed it.

The Hideout is a gem in the Poconos. Tucked away amidst lakes and dense forest, this community is truly lovely. We did not even use the amenities because we came for a family reunion. But the pool, playground, and lake shore all looked very inviting. The host had good communication and left clear instructions and a binder of recommended places that was very helpful. I just noted that check-in was difficult, through no fault of the host. Because this is a private gated community, the process to gain access was a bit of a hassle, requiring a check-in with security and some additional paperwork. It was worth it though. Next time I would like to stay longer and make better use of the amenities and beautiful setting.

The property was very clean. The property and the neighborhood has all the amenities that will keep you engaged and busy. The host was very responsive.
Note: If you are travelling with an infant, I would not recommend to use 2nd floor as the spindles for the stairs are wide enough for them to fall through.
Will definitely rent this property again!

Just got back home after a week in beautiful Lake Ariel PA. Shots on the Rocks was the perfect home for our friends reunion, we had an awesome girls week. The house was super clean and well stocked!
