The staff was very friendly. We didn't really have any special interaction with them so I can't say what would have happened if we needed anything. There is not a complimentary breakfast which surprised us but there is a restaurant on site. Our waitress was the best server we've ever had and the portions are way to generous for the price asked..I'd recommend thinking about splitting a breakfast. Our only complaint was that we had a king said bed and the mattress cover and fitted sheet wouldn't not stay over the pillow top on the mattress. We struggled to keep the sheets on and not sleep in a heap of bedding or sleep on the mattress. It sounds minor but it disrupted both me and my husbands sleep. We were also at the end of a hall across from the stairwell. A lot of noise came through everytime any one used the stairwell. Would have been nicer if the door was a little more soundproof. The hotel has a comfortable room with computer for guest use. An exercise room, hot tub and indoor pool. Our room was nice sized, clean and plenty of electronics related outlets, refrigerator, microwave and coffee. A clean room. Our room also had a nice view of the lake and sunrise.

Stayed here for a bowling tournament. It was a very nice place but expensive and no free breakfast to offset that price.

It was good overall. Bed comfy, nice hot shower, vanity large enough,jacuzzi & pool & good restaurant but would have better with more options & right in the lake. Staff friendly at front desk & restaurant. I’d recommend.

Rooms are not worth the the high prices, and no complimentary breakfast as consolation. Meals served in the brightly lit utilitarian room they call a "restaurant" (but seems more like a former complimentary breakfast room) are way (emphasis needed) overpriced.

We were on our Fall Trip and we wanted to stay in this area for the night. I had made reservations from information I learned On Line and was very satisfied with our stay. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. In the future if we continue ie to visit this area , I will again make reservations for our stay here. Employees from the Front Desk and Dining Room were great.

It was very clean . The only bad thing was the window screen was full of holes so we couldn’t open it. Would have liked hearing the waves of Lake Superior right outside our window.

Restaurant was expensive but excellent. The smothered chicken was incredible.

A nice, modern looking place to stay. A few oddities in the rooms. Never enough outlets or places to charge all the modern family toys, and the bathroom needs better ventilation as you can tell the humidity of showers is taking its toll.
Nice pool and hot tub. Attached restaurant was nice, but still surprising there was no included breakfast. Still, that was known going in.

Got there and they double booked our room. So had to stay in a 2 queen bed with my wife instead of a king. We both have cpap machine and lack of outlets forced us to sleep in the separate beds. Beds were very stiff and uncomfortable. Not a very good experience

Old musty smelling hotel/room with a very new looking facade on the outside. Hot tub didn't work. Guess they got cha by the balls, since their the only hotel in town. (Would've been so annoying, if the price was cheaper/matched what was there) On the upside, the local bar had good pool tables!!

Enjoyed our stay, staff was friendly, coffee was available in the lobby and always fresh and hot, they had on site dinning but we did not take advantage of that this stay we were out enjoying the trails and water falls. We would definitely stay here again.

Everyone was very welcoming and helpful . Vg facilities and well maintained . Beds were wonderfully comfortable , room was spacious , extremely clean room . An excellent menu choices ; the food was well cooked and presented.

I should have paid the extra money for a room on the lakeside. The traffic was quite loud. Also, I wasn't aware you had to schedule for your room to be cleaned. I found out after we got back that evening. They did at least give us fresh towels after I called down to room service.

The normal continental breakfast was not offered, yet my family decided to try their attached restaurant.
Breakfast there was excellent! The price was not cheap but the value was there. Their chef brought my daughter a piece of super chocolate cheesecake for her birthday ❤️
I believe they have switched ownership and the new owner looks to be a good one 😎

Great place for the price. However, if you are a light sleeper and don’t like hearing people trudging about, request a room on the top floor.

I reserved a room called “Superior Room Lake View”. Come to find out, the room was not superior, it was looking out on Lake Superior. The first morning, we woke up and it was pouring, so we thought we would just relax in our room. Until the rain stopped and the roofers started hammering around and above us. We had no notification that this was going to happen. The sink in the bathroom was really slow. The restaurant was not good, either.

My room was very clean and comfortable. My only problem was the lingering odor in the room that was not helped by spray in the air. Probable foot odor, so carpets need cleaned.
