In the warmer season hiking and biking trails surround the area. For water lovers, the Roaring Fork Valley offers an abundance of rafting trips, fly fishing and other river fun. The colder seasons brings the mountain snow and world winning ski areas. Skiers will enjoy the local Sunlight Mountain or Aspen ski resorts (take the RFTA bus from Glenwood it is cheap and easy). Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts are nearby too within an hour drive on Eastbound I-70. Or strap on the snowshoes or micro clips and hit the nearby hiking trails.
