The front room kitchen area was okish

The front room had a dirty blow up bed on the floor when I walked in the sofa is disgusting and there are broken doors off cupboards the bedroom had really dirty looking bedding two pillows that didn’t even match and looked dirty the wardrobe didn’t even have a rail to hang up any thing there was no clean towels or any for that that matter the toilet role was nearly finished and the toilet didn’t even have a lid it smelt of weed it was just a extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant experience

The beds were broken so very uncomfortable - I ended up sleeping on the sofa. No loo roll.

It was cheap, and available.

You get what you pay for, and there's a reason this was cheaper than any hotel available at the time. I might have been happier had I not expected a "luxurious apartment" as advertised. To be fair, the kitchen and bathroom have obviously recently been fitted, and are good quality. But that's it. What they show on the advert is its only redeeming feature. As you walk in, apart from the bare floor and white-washed walls, what strikes you first is the "sofa bed". A bare mattress, slightly stained, next to the sofa. Between those two things, and a small TV on the bare wall, that's the entire living space. No tables, no lights, no "luxurious furnishing". In the evening, you have a choice of full ceiling lights, or darkness. The bathroom is nicely fitted, with a toilet and shower. There was one hand towel and one small bath towel, between two of us, nice. No bin. Didn't like seeing a thick black hair on the shower floor. The bedroom is literally that: a bed, in a room. Again, no tables, no bedside lights (2 irons though, weirdly). Going to bed means turning off the main light and stumbling, or using your mobile to see by. The bed was hard springs, I kept waking up in pain and having to turn over. Parking. This was important to me as we were traveling some distance and I needed to know we could park up safely. The "parking area" is a narrow space at the back, probably not much bigger than a couple of average driveways, shared between all 8 or however many apartments. The entrance is scarily tight, and once committed there is little chance of turning around. If everyone has a small hatchback, it's just about doable, with cooperation. But with a family car, if you can get in at all, you risk getting scraped or blocked in. I spent a long time carefully maneuvering back out through the sphincter of a gateway and was very lucky I found a space on the side road nearby instead.

The host made sure that all the little details were taken care of to make guests more comfortable. I had a great stay!
