I had reached out to Michael as my now Fiancées family were the original owners of this property. I wanted to propose here but didn’t know if that would be possible. Michael went above and beyond to make that a reality for us. Cannot say enough great things about Michael. A genuine human being! As for the property, if you book here you will not be disappointed! The view is stunning, the cottage is cozy and it is very serene. We have spent many years here enjoying a fire while listening to the waves crash. If you love sunsets and starry skies this place is for you! Lots of places to hike around the area as well. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and look forward to going back! Thank you Michael for all of your generosity and quick communication!

My husband and I and our two young adult sons (who still love skipping stones on the shore) loved the stay in Michael's cottage. One of the cleanest rentals we have stayed at! Everything we needed was there for us, even a feeding spot all set up for our pup. Lots of living space, plus a huge deck which doubles that. Comfortable beds, Postcard view of the sunset every night. Michael responded immediately to any questions. Highly recommended if you plan to visit the Bruce Peninsula.

Our family and friends stayed at Micheal and Mary’s cottage for two nights, three days. We were three adults and two children under 3. The house was very nice, well kept, clean, had everything you needed. The property was also wonderful. Lots of open grass area for the kids to play, a fire pit and bbq. The waterfront area is quite rocky so be prepared with water shoes as the algae can be slippery. Nonetheless the kids had fun throwing rocks into the bay and the view was so serene. The proximity to Singing Sands beach was amazing - so close. Just a short car or bike ride away. The beach is incredible for kids and adults alike as it stays shallow for quite a ways out. The water is crystal clear you can see all the tiny fish swimming around your feet. Even for late June the temperature was nice and warm. Micheal and Mary are lovely hosts who were quick to respond to all our questions and helped us feel welcomed and comfortable. I would stay here again and highly recommend it!

Beautiful waterfront cottage in ideal location for outdoor lovers and enthusiasts alike. Morning coffee on Adirondaks overlooking the turquoise blue waters of lake huron followed by kayaking with my two 6 year olds in Dorcas Bay. Afternoons were spent going to Tobermory shopping and sightseeing, hiking the Bruce Trail, swimming and snorkeling in the bay, flying kites at the cottage on windy days, hitting up playgrounds at Lion's Head and Tobermory and sometimes just sitting back with a good book in my hammock at the waters edge at the cottage. This is a cottage where unforgettable family memories are made!!! Thank you Michael for being an amazing host!!!
