A nice, well equipped apartment. Ibrahim was a generous and welcoming host, who prepared an excellent breakfast. His family had lived on the site of the Roman city for 160 years, and he talked about growing up there. He is also head of the museum on the site. so if you are lucky - and if he has time - you might get a personal tour.

The apartment is next to the mosque, so you won't need to set a wake up call. This isn't really a negative. It's just part of life in Jordan (and other Islamic countries).

De gastheer was ongelooflijk vriendelijk. Hij bleek bovendien eveneens conservator te zijn van het kasteel. Hij gidste ons zo maar rond gedurende meer dan 1,5 uur. Bovendien een zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding

De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en geeft je ook graag uitleg over de archeologische site in Umm Qais. Het ontbijt was echt uitstekend! Het bed was ook zeer ruim en goed!

Ibrahim ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber und hat uns sehr viel Tipps gegeben. Es gibt eine tolle Dachterrasse auf der uns Tee serviert wurde. Das Frühstück wurde liebevoll hergerichtet.

Uns hat es gut gefallen und auch nichts gestört. Es könnte aber andere Gäste stören, dass man direkt neben einer Moschee schläft.

Very close to the archeological site, extremely comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, very warmly welcomed. The owner is very responaive and easy to communicate. Definitely will book again.
