The house was clean, charmingly decorated and our hosts were really good at communicating with us. It was also a lovely gesture to see a bottle of wine on the table.

I think our biggest disappointment was that the house was not that close to the old town of Sintra. It required a 10 min drive to get there so we felt a little isolated as tourists. The little village where the house was situated was also very quiet and nothing was open in terms of restaurants so we had to drive to Sintra centre each time we wanted to eat. Perhaps this should be clear on the description on booking.com - if it is, then I must have missed it.

We had an amazing stay, the hosts were super friendly, helpful and considerate. Interior was very beautiful and the house was full-equiped. Perfect location for exploring the beautiful surrounding nature and palaces. Would definitely come back!
