Der Aufenthalt in der Kadalama Lodge war wirklich außergewöhnlich, der Garten ist wunderschön, der Pool sauber und erfrischend. Die einzeln stehenden Häuser sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Outdoor Badezimmer ist wir,ich exotisch, man denkt, man duscht im Dschungel! Namil, der Manager ist stets vor Ort und sehr bemüht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Ein wunderschöner, ruhiger und entspannter Ort!

Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti al Kandalama Lodge, e devo dire che è stato un inizio di vacanza spettacolare e saremmo rimasti volentieri più giorni. È la struttura perfetta per visitare Sigiriya, Pidurangala ed il Golden Temple, tutti a pochi km sul tuk tuk, ma anche per passare un pomeriggio in piscina rilassandosi bevendo un fresh fruit juice. La struttura è immersa nel verde, con grande cura per i dettagli, le camere pulitissime e con tutto il necessario, bagno privato con una bellissima doccia all’aperto. Nalin ed i giovani ragazzi dello staff sono sempre presenti, e attenti a qualsiasi bisogno, ma senza essere invasivi. Il giovane chef ci ha sorpresi cucinando le colazioni e le cene più buone del nostro soggiorno! Apprezzatissimo il servizio di pick up dall’areoporto, e di spostamenti con il gentile autista Malla. Ma il ringraziamento particolare va al proprietario della struttura Wedage, che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa per tutto il soggiorno, preparandoci ottimi drink e dandoci ottimi consigli per il nostro soggiorno in Sri Lanka. Grazie Kandalama, speriamo di tornare presto!

Very clean and wonderfully appointed room with the most amazing outside bathroom. The attention to detail in the room made our stay most enjoyable. Staff were very helpful and food was excellent. Tuk Tuk arranged for us for a trip, driver was reliable and got us to our destination and back ok.

Alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles funktioniert wie zuhause. Sehr sauberer Pool. Manager bemüht sich sehr um die Gäste. Essen war sehr gut.

The accommodation and the property were really super nice, we enjoyed a lot the outdoor bathroom with the great rain shower. Everything is super clean, modern and someone here has a very good eye for the small details. We really enjoyed our stay here and the staff is also very friendly and take great care of you! We would definitely recommend it to others!

We've stayed in pricier places during our Sri Lanka trip, but honestly, the staff attitude in this one is simply unbeatable. They're super helpful for anything you need! We had some laundry to do, and even though they don't usually offer that service, the manager, Namil, washed it for us. Big thanks to him for being so attentive and friendly. It's a joy to stay in a place with such awesome staff. Now, the food is a highlight❤️ Forget about eating in town! the restaurant here serves tasty breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had one of the best dishes ever at this hotel. Moreover, despite its proximity to the lake, our room was blissfully mosquito-free. With mosquito repellent in the socket and no concealed entry points. The outside bathroom is very beautiful! The swimming pool is super clean! Even when it rained, and leaves fell, the staff quickly cleaned it up. The pictures don't really capture it – you've got to see this hidden gem for yourself! Hoping they will keep up these great standards in the future as well. We highly recommend this hotel!

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen mit einem Cocktail. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hat uns alles bestens erklärt. Das Zimmer war sauber und das offene Bad ein Traum. Das Zimmer und die komplette Anlage war sehr gepflegt. Fantastisches Essen das wir in Sri Lanka je gegessen haben muss man wirklich sagen. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und lecker. Es hat volle zehn Punkte verdient da es einfach an nichts gefehlt hat. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Probablemente el mejor alojamiento en el que vayamos a estar en Sri Lanka. Las habitaciones son amplias, camas muy cómodas, muy limpias y con el baño al aire libre, lo cual es algo diferente y exótico. Las instalaciones son muy nuevas y modernas. El desayuno increíble y las cenas muy ricas, ¡nuestras felicitaciones a los chefs! Nalin, el manager, muy agradable, preocupándose por todo detalle para que no nos faltara de nada y todo estuviera perfecto. Todo el personal, muy agradable y atento. Sin duda recomiendo este alojamiento a todo el mundo, puesto que es un sitio perfecto para alojarse en tu viaje por Sri Lanka si quieres descansar en un sitio estupendo y comer muy bien.

Tolle sehr schön eingerichtet Unterkunft! Die Zimmer waren groß, modern und sehr neu. Das Außendbad ist aufjedenfall ein Highlight. Klodeckel aber besser tagsüber und nachts geschlossen lassen wegen der Frösche ;) Grundsätzlich ist die Einrichtung sehr hochwertig. Die komplette Anlage ist sehr schön hergerichtet mit einem Pool in der Mitte der Bungalows und einem eigenen Restaurant. Wir hatten uns eine Weile mit den deutschen Besitzern unterhalten, die hier aufjedenfall ihr Herzblut reingesteckt haben. Nalin der Manager war sehr nett und hat uns versucht jeden Wunsch von den Augen abzulesen, was ihm auch gelung :) Wirklich tolle Unterkunft mit der man schnell mit dem Auto beim Höhlentempel ist.

Für Sri Lankische Verhältnisse waren die Restaurant Preise sehr hoch, fast schon westlich mit nicht so vielen vegetarischen Optionen.

Просто замечательный отель! Отдохнули великолепно! Во-первых, он новый, открыт в августе 2023. Все идеально чистое, современное и очень комфортное. Мягкие подушки, идеальный матрас, тихий кондиционер - мелочи, которые важны в Азии) очень красивая ванна, чистый бассейн, супер-удобные лежаки, красивая территория с множеством милых мелочей. Во-вторых, особое и очень внимательное отношение персонала. Управляющий отелем Налин, просто покорил наше сердце! Рассказал о культуре, о наблюдениях за местной фауной, истории отеля. Нам готовили королевские завтраки и помогали во всем. Ну и отдельного э внимания заслуживает место и люди. Такая тихая, уютная, чистая деревушка, где все улыбаются и делятся умиротворением. Рядом большое озеро, где много разнообразных птиц. Мы остались очень довольны и хотим еще сюда вернуться)

Kandalama Lodge truly is a hidden gem in Dambulla. It's hard to put into words how breathtaking and serene our stay was. We opted for the Villa with a Private Pool, and it was absolutely idyllic. The architecture is exceptional, paying meticulous attention to detail, creating a soothing atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly, dedicated to ensuring our stay was exceptional. A special thanks to Nalin, the General Manager, who looked after everything flawlessly during our stay. He was not only friendly but also easily accessible at any time when needed. The culinary experience was a delightful highlight of our stay, offering both delicious and nutritious options. Credits to the Chef! I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway, and there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy as well in Dambulla. Thank you, Kandalama Lodge, for an unforgettable experience!

It was a great stay! Very nice contact with the owner! When we arrived we were very friendly received with a drink! He will/can arrange everything for you at a good price. he arranged us perfect safari tour at kaudulla national park. on site restaurant is superb.owner ,he is a experienced barman .Furthermore, the location was really top! You're so close to dambulla cave temple and Dambulla city center.This while you're surrounded by greenery. The rooms are good! the property have only 5 rooms specially one room is with private pool that’s also really amazing.They're clean and you can sit on the terrace. The Wi-Fi also worked at our top. In addition, we have a wonderful hang on the pool beds in the garden. Breakfast is also extensive and delicious! A real must if you are here this Lodge.

The Lodge is in an amazing location in dambulla. The Owner was extremely welcoming and very helpful giving us advice on where to go and what to do. We had a delicious breakfast every morning looking out onto the garden. I couldn’t recommend Kandalama Lodge enough if you are visiting Dambulla.
