Perfectly located on the Whitstable/Tankerton borders, guests can take an easy stroll either into Whitstable with a working harbour and fish market, a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, a great live music scene in the local pubs and some great cafes and restaurants serving contemporary dishes including of course oysters which made Whitstable famous. Or in the other direction just a short walk brings you to the charming centre of Tankerton with lovely shops, a microbrewery, wine bar, restaurants and boutique shops, Whitstable Castle with the adventure playground and gardens, and the wide open space of the Tankerton slopes and long beach promenade. Your four-legged friend is also welcome to join you. Whitstable and Tankerton are very dog-friendly with large stretches of the beach accessible all year round, and many cafes and pubs welcome dogs.
