Day trips to the Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent and Pacific coastal areas are all within a 45 minute to 3 hour drive from the home. Sequim itself hosts several walking beaches, the Dungeness Spit, Olympic Game Farm and wonderful Lavender Farms throughout the valley. Take a bike ride through the valley or along the Olympic Discovery Trail and enjoy thick forests of cedars, an old railway trestle bridge across the Dungeness River and views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. In the evenings, enjoy dining out at one of Sequim's many fine dining establishments from fresh Italian food at Tedesco's, fresh seafood at Salty Girls or Dockside Grill to mexican fare at Jose's Famous Salsa.
