There were roaches in my room...

A few cosmetic maintenance issues where damage had been done by previous guests. Small baseboard piece missing. Chips in Formica in bathroom table. Mail polish stains. Plaster on wall corner. I don’t like to swim personally, but the pool was empty. Looks like it’s not working and hadn’t been for a long time.

Review as of March 31, 2024 This was our second stay at this hotel. The hotel is very new and the pool is still being finished just for those who want to swim. They said it would be done in around 2 weeks for pool to be done. Staff - very nice and friendly Hotel - new and clean Breakfast - did not try but I think they have Toast, Jellys, Juices, Eggs, Bacon, Sausage. I did not see any cut fruit so not sure. ONLY IMPROVEMENT NEEDED Only issue I have with this hotel is that the Refrigerator is located near the bathroom along with the coffee bar. I think when they made the hotel, they wanted to save on plumbing costs so they decided to locate the refrigerator and mini kitchen right OUTSIDE of the bathroom...almost 3 feet away from the POT..and that to me IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. It's just gross and unhygienic and I think the person who came up with this idea does not have good person hygiene. For that reason, I have to deduct at least two points. I mean WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO STORE YOUR FOOD OR MAKE COFFEE NEXT TO YOUR TOILET POT....ITS GROSS!!! Well its the same design for all these rooms so nothing can be done but whoever designed it is gross. I did not use the mini kitchen or the refrigerator. Also the bath towels are placed in the tray under the vanity which I think is also gross because people use the toilet and not the towels and what if those towels are not replaced with good clean towels. So not sure what you are wiping on your face. I did not use the towels.

Breakfast was good. They charge a $25 fee to check in early around 1pm. Even though our a room was ready. AC worked well. Smaller room. Comfy beds.

I was made to feel uncomfortable by a hotel employee who tried to lure me to another hotel multiple times. This employee asked me for my phone number & called the room twice. I asked for a late check out, and this person granted my request. Then, one hour later, the hotel employee called me and said, I really needed to check out within the next 15 minutes. (After I was already granted for a late check out.) I ended up checking out & moving to the Hotel Van Zaint downtown, which was great. Pros: The actual hotel was very new & clean. The breakfast always felt sanitary & good. Always had coffee available, which was a great addition. I would stay here again, just not by myself.

The hotel is new, and recently built. My wife and I have stayed at other Quinta Inns and they never disappoint. Hotel was nice and clean. It is pet friendly. Our hotel room smelled like wet dog and the smell was stronger coming from the bathroom. We assumed that previous stay probably had a dog, but if this was the case, they should really clean the bathroom thoroughly. Breakfast was nice. The night of our stay, I purchased two sodas with my card. The next morning at check out, I had a charge of a water bottle to my room. I explained to the concierge that I only got two sodas, and I paid with card. He stated that it wasn't his problem. He was very rude. During breakfast, he said something to another client with her dog, and she called him out saying "Excuse me?" and he preceded to argue with her. We were all very uncomfortable. When he wasn't been made to be assisting on others at the front desk, he was on his phone sitting in the lounging area of the front desk. He was very rude, inconsiderate, and lacked people skills. He seemed annoyed to be there. It's not our fault that he is unhappy with his job. He worked the morning of our check out. He tried to mock me by saying "It's only $2, why are you upset?". I told him, why should I pay for something I did not purchase. Be weary of this because his only solution was to call Monday to speak with GM. Not sure if we will be staying here in the future.

Easy check-in/out, room was decent size and appeared very clean. Bed was comfy and a good selection of TV channels. Also happy to see both a mini fridge and a microwave, because I’ve seen a lot of hotels take out the microwave option lately. No issues!

The turn into the hotel is horrible. The breakfast is lacking, and the little man at the front desk has a big mouth. The AC in the room would not heat up, even after hours and hours. However, the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The bathroom was nice (shower was awesome!). Overall a good stay.

The hotel was a great option to stay near Austin but at a more affordable cost, the hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks

The entire staff was so friendly and helpful with everything. We just loved that the hotel had coffee and tea anytime that we needed it. Great stay, and the breakfast was fantastic everyday!!

I did not like that a blue razor and a old dried up wash cloth was pushed back way under the sink on the floor. The toilet seat needed to be tighten down.

Very new hotel. Front desk was nice and checked us in quickly. The room was great and clean. Being in a new hotel is great. Breakfast was good, nothing impressive just the usuals but it was good. The only complaint I have was lack of really hot water (just like warm) and no decent water pressure in the shower.

Breakfast was not ready at 6:00 am on Jan 8th as promised. I had to drive to the airport for an early flight and it was disappointing to not have the breakfast I was expecting.

By far the worst hotel i have ever stayed. Room had no towels, floor had feet marks and shoe marks. Received over 10 key cards because apparently homeless people sneak in. Bed sheets were never changed, i left food on my desk over $100 and they just threw it away. Fridge did not work. Doors didn't close fully. Expedia did nothing nor the hotel, worst experience ever!!!

The hotel itself was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable except the pillows. Customer service in the evening and checking out was horrible. They were not engaging, smiling and both seemed like they hated their job.

Hotel was clean, beds comfortable, loved the spacious bathroom. Though it’s new there was hole in carpet in room. And the charge $50 refundable deposit for incidentals vs just credit card on file.

We had a situation where we purchased a night's stay for a client. At booking we had no idea they would require a deposit. This laquinta Inn showed as cheapest in the area. It ended up not being after additional charges were added. Once we realized the limited funds we had were not going to cover the long term solution we decided to go in a different direction. Unfortunately the Laquinta or expedia refused to refund or credit the stay. We understand there are rules in place but an exception could have been made in the case of a homeless non-profit trying to shelter a client. It's shameless and sad. Maximizing Hope Austin, Texas

I stayed here for two nights. This is a newer hotel located in North Austin. Rooms were clean. Bed was ok. The bathroom door is kind of in a weird location. The shower doors had a hard time staying closed. The room was quiet. Staffs were nice. Breakfast was ok. Overall, I liked staying at this property

Friendly staff, breakfast was good.

Quiet, clean and comfortable. Although the kitchen staff was friendly there were language barriers…but not the end of the world. Overall very pleased.

The beds were not comfortable.

We stay four days n never came to clean the room, the toilet was leaking, sink got like clog, so for the same reason that they didn't clean the room, they didn't leave towels neither toilet paper, i had to go to the reception to ask for em.
