Basic room was comfortable and adequate for a one nights stay. Would suggest taking a white noise machine - the road noise died down, but could hear some noise from nearby rooms and overhead.

Adorable little retro motel. The view from the balconies is spectacular. The decor is very modern and comfortable. The room was spotless. Walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. The road is busy, and we were worried about being able to sleep, but it definitely quieted down after sunset. Would definitely stay here again!

Convenient, clean, comfortable and beautiful room with breathtaking views. I especially love the lounge with coffee, sitting area and tv. A cozy property only a few minutes away from several restaurant options.

I stayed here with my family for one night but would stay again if back in the area. It was a little different not having a front desk employee to check in with and all communication and access codes were done by texts. This was concerning, but I was emailed early on how everything would work. My worries went away quickly because even though there was no one on site, I was still constantly informed by text of what to expect upon arrival and who to call if needed. We had no issues and my family enjoyed our short stay in a unique location, close to town.

We stayed 3 nights and we had a family of 4. PROS - Great location. Very reasonable price. Love that the room has a ceiling fan. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Clean. Nice TV. Parking was fine. Great water pressure. Nice little lobby. CONS - There was an issue with the water heater all 3 nights we stayed. Sometimes we would have hot water, but most of the time it was cold. I contacted them and they were going to send a plumber out. Hopefully it gets fixed quick for the next guests. Beware, if you are on the first floor and someone is on the second floor above you. It will be a nightmare. Especially if there are kids that like to run. I assume the 2nd floor has hard floors like the first floor. It is extremely loud. And you hear every step when someone is on the porch on the second floor. It’s like people are tap dancing or doing the river dance above you.

We stayed overnight in chimney rock for tge Easter Sunrise service next morning. Great accommodations, very efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable. Pet friendly. Easy parking. Highly recommend.

Great stay! Came for a few days for my birthday and the location was perfect. Very quiet, non busy location. The economy apartment felt like a home away from home. Close enough to Asheville not to be a hassle of a drive. We loved that it was in nature and near a river. Also really enjoyed the self check in and out system. Very friendly and helpful staff, although i never met them in person.

Great little motel so super close to town and all the great shops and things in Chimney Rock. The room is plenty big and clean, light and modern. My only complaint was the number of glade plug-ins running... by morning they were just too much. I didnt find the room had any smells that needed to be hidden with plugins so maybe leave one in the room unplugged.

Very quiet and easy going guesthouse. I got the junior room (because it was cheapest) which was very small. I would not have 2 people in the junior room. Only 1 small window in the back of the room and 1 in bathroom. Everything was clean and well kept. Coffee and couches available in guest lounge. Again a very nice place, and great location.

A Must Stay!!! I rented the apartment here and it was Home away from Home! I rented it to just get away for the weekend. The owner and staff are so kind! We spent 4 days here. It is absolutely Gorgeous!! I have stayed at other places but Hickory Falls Inn gives you an experience of a lifetime when it comes to down home country mountain living or just to Get Away from everything. The check in and out is Self Service which is amazingly convenient, a guest closet if you are to need anything and a lounge just to relax! I did have an issue with my bedroom TV the last day we were there but the Manager and Owner were not hesitant about contacting me ASAP. They both contacted me personally which was awesome! I have T-Mobile so the phone signal is hit and miss at times but that is to be expected in the mountains and we had a storm while there but you do have good reception inside and outside of the room. I loved seeing the rain from our window and porch! The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed for a perfect weekend! There’s the town to your left which has stores and places to eat! Constantly hearing the water as it flows down the river is Amazing and our view from the room was Spectacular! We walked out of our door and there is the mountain with the waterfall! It’s a must see in person and only at Hickory Falls Inn. This trip meant so much to me. My dad unfortunately passed away in September of last year.
