Situated smack in the middle of one of the most desirable beach sections of the historic St. Augustine area, this colorful compound has tons of outdoor party space, a combined 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, and can sleep up to 20 people. There’s plenty of outside fun to be had, with a professional-grade putting green, bocce court and hot tub on one side; and a second hot tub and fire pit on the other. Uniquely situated on a coastal peninsula, the beach is a seven-minute walk to the east, a saltwater river to the immediate west, and serious history is all around you. In fact, Ponce de Leon is said to have landed mere minutes from here in his search for the fabled fountain of youth. 3. The large but intimate gathering spaces. For bigger groups – two extended families traveling together or an annual girls’ or golf getaway – these homes give you the space and flexibility you need without being on top of each other.
