Booking.com found us this house as a last minute replacement when another host cancelled with no notice. Peachtree's host responded immediately after booking when I messaged them for the keycode and check in / out instructions. We appreciated the four queen beds for our group of one couple and 3 single adults. Even with no time to prepare, most of the house was pretty clean with some very notable exceptions. Breakfast nook with built in bench was nice for group meals. Primary bath was very spacious and shower was recently remodeled.

There were several live crickets between the sheets in one of the beds!!! We couldn't catch the crickets, so they chirped loudly inside that bedroom for our entire stay. The pool had a layer of brown dirt at the bottom. When I texted the host to ask if they could please send a pool cleaner out so we could use the pool, they asked me to text their "local team". The local team replied once to say they "would try" and didn't respond again to my two followup texts asking for an update. The pool cleaning guys came on their regularly scheduled service day three days later which happened to be the afternoon before our checkout the next morning. So we didn't get to enjoy the pool. The house is Immediately next door to a high voltage electrical installation and there was a giant crane truck parked on the grass sort of in the front yard. Dishwasher was broken. The furniture, linens, etc felt like the cheapest possible options that looked ok for pictures for instance the 100% polyester microfiber sheets. Finally, religious imagery and references throughout the house made my entire party uncomfortable - this would have been fine if this house was someone's full time home, or if we were guests staying for free, but this house is obviously a full time rental that we were paying a lot of money for. It would have felt more respectful, welcoming and inclusive without the religious decor.
