Decent setup, booked the place due to the jacuzzi and game room, was only able to use those amenities one night, lost power to half of the home the second night. I understand its out of my control and out of the homeowners control but the right thing to do is to adjust the price due to the event, instead I got an email saying I should have purchased trip insurance and file a claim through them. Disappointing how business is done these days (its already pricey with all the fees and you don’t get what you paid for and told you should have paid more fees on top to cover the scenario is a slap in the face), I would rather pay someone I know to stay at their place vs a large corporation. Doing the right thing is just not in the corporate motto.

Beautiful house and setting. The beds were all comfortable. TVs and WIFI all worked great. Very peaceful setting in the house, on the deck, in the hot tube or on the creek side sitting area. We are a family of 5 adults and our dog and we had plenty of room. We loved our stay!

Overall we were very satisfied with the property. It was ideally located near the things we wanted to see, yet isolated enough where we could relax by the river. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Perfect for myself, two kids, and my dad. So much to do when the mountain closed for skiing.

Our families really enjoyed this home. Lots of seating & beds. The kitchen was stocked with lots of dishes, silverware & pots/pans. Unfortunately there wasn’t any plastic wrap or foil, thankfully grocery store wasn’t too far away. The beds were comfortable with extra blankets and pillows. There was no service but we were aware prior and truthfully it was great to unplug. The hot tub was clean and a hit with the kiddos. The house was pretty clean upon arrival however we found a pair of socks under the couch that did not belong to anyone in our group when we were cleaning up to depart. The gate was already open upon arrival, didn’t bother us, but thought it was strange since we were given the code. Trash bins were already out by the road and was never returned to the house during our stay so we just left them but drove our trash to them when we left. The house was a freezing 55 degrees upon arrival which I suppose if Vacasa was aware of our stay, the temp would have been more comfortable upon our arrival. Thankfully it only took 1.5 hours to warm up to a comfortable temp. The fire detector upstairs was dying so it was beeping our entire time, thankfully we weren’t too annoyed by it. There was also an “old” smell to the house and the esthetics could be more updated but overall we really enjoyed the house.

The house itself very clean but there were a few bigger issues with this rental. Urine stains on the bedroom carpet, screens on sliding doors were not attached at the bottom, hot tub was seriously in need of fresh water given disgusting things floating in it that precluding us from using it. The total lack of any internet connection is concerning as while its good to disconnect, not if you cannot contact anyone on the outside. The property is great with tons of space to play and explore. Garage rec area really fun.

I’d like to start off with saying the my family had a great vacation at the cabin. It was just what we needed to get away and just enjoy each others company. It was a beautiful spot along the river. It was nice and secluded.
The cabin was nice, but it definitely needs some updating. Carpet was stained, blue tape from painting years ago was still on the ceiling in the bedrooms upstairs. The home needs a good deep clean. Cobwebs inside the house and outside on the deck. Windows were super dirty and bird poop were on some of them. In the master bath, I stepped on a metal shard and it got stuck in my food. It was very painful and we had to get tweezers to get it out. Thankful our daughters didn’t step on it. When we were able to text Vacasa while on the road to go to the store, (Internet was very very spotty, like other people have said) I was able to tell Vacasa what happened and they comped us a night, which was very appreciative.
We thought it was kinda weird that we had to set out all of the cushions for the outdoor furniture ourselves. There was a note that if we were staying on a Tuesday, we had to take the garbage and recycling cans to the road ourselves or we would be charged a fee for not doing it. And it was a very long driveway. Luckily we had my husbands truck so he just put them in the back and drove them to the road. What was really odd, though, on Wednesday after we went out for a little nature excursion 15 mins away, we came back and someone was parked inside the gate, hanging out. We were freaked out at first, but then the guy said he was from Vacasa, waiting for the garbage to come to take the cans back in. The guy didn’t have a Vacasa shirt on or anything and it felt weird and an invasion of our privacy having someone waiting on the property inside the gate, where we could see the car from inside the house, just hanging out and waiting. It was rude. There was no information that this would be even happening. And why does Vacasa make the tenants take the cans to the street but not take the cans back? Why can’t Vacasa do both OR at least have the tenants take the light empty cans, or have the housekeeper do it?
There really needed to be more info about what they expect of guests. Because of the Internet not being good, I finally saw an email when I returned home today, after we checked out, what they expected us to do before leaving, like starting the dishwasher and stuff like that. Thankfully we did that without even knowing.
There wasn’t any info on the listing if there would be wood, so I emailed Vacasa. They told us to bring our own. Guess what was there when we got there? A plethora of wood….a lot of extra work on our part to bring wood from home.
Let’s see, the gate was wide open when we got there. The combination didn’t work when we tried to lock it. The listing doesn’t mention that there is a pull-out couch in the living room and the garage is converted into a game room with ping pong and darts and two full size beds. We could have had more family here if we knew there was more space!
We had come on the unfortunate week where they were paving the main road all week so we had a lot of delays and waiting in the car for the follow car. It was hard with two small children with little patience. They finally passed our road the day we left.
i kept hearing a weird beeping noise for a few days in the yard and finally figured out that they have a gopher problem and it’s to scare the gophers away. But more mounds kept piping up while we were there, so I don’t think it’s working.
The river was great. It was beautiful. We had fun playing in it and lounging on the chairs near it. I know there was a lot of negative, but we still did have a good time.

Wonderful stay, 5 stars. Very clean, great kitchen, amazing and private park like setting

The only suggestions would be to have the carpets clean and if you really want people to not wear shoes in the house, make a bigger sign.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was lovely to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the beautiful scenery and stream in backyard! Great time for the kids, too.

Beautiful home and setting. We found the home easy to access, Just minutes to the main road and shopping. It was clean and well equipped. Everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. Plenty of towels too! Beautiful bedding and so comfortable! Which is something I have found lacking, at other VRBO's we have rented in the past. We enjoyed the fireplace both nights. There was a small amount of wood there for us when we arrived. Which was appreciated too. The hot tub was clean and ready for us too. We loved the deck out near the creek. It was a beautiful setting for morning coffee or an afternoon to enjoy the sunshine. The yard was well kept too. Another reviewer mentioned dog doo. While we were there, two dogs from the home next door were seen in the yard using it for a bathroom. It is possible that was the issue for that time too. Can't really control that. It is not fenced. Nor would you want it to be in such a beautiful setting. We will be back! Love this property!

Our plans were to find a spot in the woods with that log cabin feeling and we couldn't have picked a better home and location. This home has everything from a large yard surrounded by woods and a beautiful flowing creek that was picturesque with plenty of open yard for the dogs to run. The interior layout was perfect between the dinning table with a bay window setting and two open seating areas with the kitchen set between. One area has a nice comfy theater feeling for movies and on the other side a large vaulted ceiling with plenty of seating around the fireplace. Nice game room with pingpong, darts, open seating and TV for us sports watchers. Home was clean and extremely inviting. This might have to be an annual trip! Thank you to the entire Vacasa staff for making our getaway well worth the trip.

Beautiful property. Creek out back is great. Be prepared to live more off the grid, no cell service and wifi is very slow. Was also very stormy and we lost power several times, but did come back on relatively quickly. Also pack your own seasonings, no basic ones were there. Beds were very comfy! House is laid out well.
