The space The Townhome is the owner’s home, the biggest unit of a triplex, above a studio rental and a duplex rental. It feels like a treehouse seeing trees from every window! Every space of this is superbly neat and convenient to stay in! Your front door and kitchen door are private and have motion/light-sensitive fixtures to be safe going in and out. Most windows have filtered views of SF Bay and/or views of Berkeley and Oakland. Starting from the three bedrooms, all of them are incredibly immaculate in which guests will enjoy taking afternoon power naps and rejuvenating beauty sleeping under the warm bed covers. Bedroom 1 accommodates 2 guests as it includes a queen-size bed, bedroom 2 conveniently fits 2 more guests as it has a comfy double bed, and bedroom 3, comfortably sleeps 1 guest who will have the privilege to enjoy a whole room to themselves. Essential bedroom amenities include bed linens, bed sheets, and hangers so don’t worry about carrying extra weight to bring yours along. The bathroom is bright and spotlessly and clean. Essential bathroom amenities include towels, soap, toilet paper, a hair dryer, and most importantly hot water to relish your long showers letting the warm water relax your tense muscles that got worked up during your outdoor excursion. Another room which you will appreciate is the laundry room. Do not stress out about finding a place to wash your clothes and spending extra cash for that. The washer and dryer are for you to use to make your stay absolutely stress-free. You’ll particularly enjoy chilling in the combined ample space of the living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. Get comfortable in the living area by hopping on the soft velvety couch, lounging, and bonding for hours with everyone staying in the house. Walk in the kitchen, and using all kitchen appliances to make your meals, sit in the kitchen seating area to devour your freshly cooked masterpiece. Or take your plates and transfer them to the dining area so that all of you can sit around the table and enjoy exchanging hearty conversations all the while eating happily. For those working, amenities to definitely consider are the dedicated workspace for you to get comfortable and place your laptop, and the WIFI for you to connect and never miss out on important online meetings. You will find in the Gourmet Ghetto the nearest supermarkets less than 1 mile downhill, as well as restaurants, bakeries, and original Peets coffee. (Cafenated Coffee is the new cool coffee shop with a lovely patio and excellent food.) Downtown Berkeley tourist attractions, lots of restaurants, and museums are 2 miles away. Everything is conveniently close which makes our place the best base to explore Berkeley's most important points of interest. The house is only 1/2 block from the public bus stop to/from UC Berkeley, Downtown Berkeley, and Bart stations. Getting around Having a car is convenient as all destinations are about 5 to 30 minutes. But choosing to go for a stroll isn’t such a bad idea because the nearest groceries and eateries are only 15 min away. North Berkeley Gourmet Ghetto: (walkable or drive down hill: bring kids to pick out their muffins…) The original Peets for cup of coffee and people watch/check out (Walnut and Vine corner) Go to Cheeseboard Collective in morning for killer baked goods (Cheese rolls are always hot) Cocktails and Apps at Cesar’s or Tiger Lilly Sushi- Taste (the place across from Cheeseboard)- 4 or five eateries in one place –mostly take out -Kirala See UC Berkeley Campus Go to Lawrence Hall of Science Great science museum for kids of all ages. And a spectacular view of the Bay. Available to get there by car, bus, (or walk up via the Berkeley Paths) Indian Rock for the Bay view. Down near the Bay: Adventure Playground Cesar Chavez Park-fly a kite, walk along the bay. Walk out on the Berkeley Pier 4 th Street for food and hip shopping Other Unique Eats in Berkeley: Zachary’s on Solano-best pizza ever (Pegasus Books is cool while the pizza is cooking.) Go to Monterey Market for best vegetable market, and Magnani Poultry Shop for rotisserie chickens across the street -both on Hopkins Berkeley Bowl—another great grocery store great vegies and unique foods
