The staff was really nice. Everyone was very helpful and positive.
We were extremely dissapointed with the food. Both dinner and breakfast were terrible. Despite tables full of food we ended up eating crackers with marmolade and fruits.

Outdoor pool and nearby park.
Basic all inclusive resort. The beach is not great.

The staff were perfect for me. The front desk was kind and courteous, very professional and efficient, and the wait staff serving food were exceptional... fun, pleasant, and cheerful, their energy and attitude just made my stay all the better. Well done!
The loud thumping beat of the constant music at poolside was a bit annoying...

Excellent breakfast. Lunch and diner were acceptable although the quality could be better.
Facilities are very nice.

The staff is great!
Comfortable bed and great pool area.
The food unfortunately. Limited vegetarian options and no way to know the options, my husband is vegetarian.
No label to know what is inside. For food restrictions/allergies needs improvement quickly.
But the day my husband ate meat by mistake because the staff said it wasn't meat inside, we complained and they made one of the best margarita pizza we ever tried (i had a piece, couldn't resist.)

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the calheta beach hotel to celebrate our first valentine's day together and let me tell you it was phenomenal all the staff were fantastic but there was one staff member who exceeded our expectations (Cristina Abreu) thank you for your help with the bouquet of roses, for the treats since we arrived and for the sparkling wine it was not our first time visiting the hotel and it will not be the last. Thank you very much for your kindness and attention.

Location was excellent, ensure you book the inclusive package, you will not be disappointed. They are there to please you, and they certain did that and more.

The room was pleasant with a balcony and ocean view. The bed was super large and comfortable. Large walk-in shower.
Staff were lovely and attentive. The food was reasonably good.
Evening entertainment was good. Internet was fast and reliable.
Outdoor pool wasn't heated which is shame as no one uses it in winter months. But this seems to be the norm in Madeira hotels.
The TV has custom OS which blocked me from connecting my firestick.

service was the best, staff was very friendly and took top care of their guests.
also food was very good, huge variety for all kind of dietary needs.

The hotel is well located right next to the beach. Beautiful view to the sea. Great outdoor pool and bar. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and very responsive to our requests.
Breakfast was very bad 👎, no fresh juice or good coffee for breakfast. Just instant coffee and chemical juice, which is very disappointing for Madeira, where fresh fruits are growing. Not even bananas were offered.
Dinner was not always good. Most of the dishes were too salty, and sushi was super bad. Salads were made from products from the previous day.
The bathroom in the room was very old, shower head was broken, ants ruining around.. No bathrobes and house shoes available as for all inclusive very strange. We were charged additionally for them.
Room was tiny for 2 of us and the baby.

Staff were fantastic especially the manager and Cristina, good facilities not too crowded.
Ability to have drinks and snacks all day was great.
Evening entertainment is a nice touch.
Beach was not great and quite small.
Location is far from Funchal main city and taxi fare there and back is 100 euro! The hotel provide a shuttle at 20 euro person but it leaves once a day. However the resort is nice enough to stay in all day and relax.

The people working there were great. The value was good if you are expectations are not high. The rooms and facilities are somewhat dated. They were very helpful making special gluten free meals for my daughter. The rest of the food was average. Nothing spectacular. If you plan on staying at the hotel all day having drinks and eating you cannot beat the value. We were gone most of the day and did not participate in their programs. The night time entertainment was great.
The rooms and bathrooms were a little dated.

Some of the people were very friendly and helpful and really made a huge effort over Christmas to make our stay special. It really is much appreciated. The daily activities were fun and presented with a lot of enthusiasm. Themed dinners were nice to keep evening meals interesting.
The hotel (furniture, bathrooms, towels, tv's, decor, crockery & cutlery, etc.) is old. This really isn't a 4 star hotel any more and we feel it doesn't provide the expected value for the price we paid. The (old) AC in our room didn't work for the entire duration of our stay, which meant we had to leave the balcony doors open (= noise from music, pool and bar most of the day and evening). We didn't have tea or coffee facilities available in the room. We had to pay extra to use the tiny safe in the room. The bathroom was the biggest let-down: completely useless 1970's hair dryer, two ancient dispensers containing a basic soapy substance and no other toiletries. Oh, and the paint was peeling in the bathroom.
Vegetarian meal options are mostly limited to salads and side dishes. Quality of basic drinks (wine, beer, juice, coffee) did not meet our expectations. The a la carte restaurant was oversold. The food and service here was very underwhelming.

Great Selection of Food and drink for all the meals. There was also snacks available but we didn't even need them,
All staff from reception to bar to restaurant were fantastic and very helpful.
Easy access to nice beach nearby. Indoor and Outdoor Pool and Spa with Sauna and Steam Room.
Entertainment, live music, games and even a visit from a parrot in the short time we were there.
I couldn't recommend this more. Will definitely be back.
Being Super Critical. Its a wee bit out of the way and the roads close by aren't the best.
