Very very comfortable high end B&B. Very good facilities and thoughtful touches such as the fridge with fresh milk & juice. Lovely building and great location. Although it's directly on the A30 it's not a busy section of road and the traffic noise was hardly noticeable at all.
Nothing!

The room was ok, the breakfast very good
The staff seemed in a rush on arrival not welcoming. No restaurant available and hotel shut. Had to go to another town to get dinner.

The Belfry is a unique property with some excellent features - wooden beams, a stunning window and great views over the fields. The hosts were patient after I was stuck in a traffic diversion and arrived quite late but I was greeted with a smile. The L'Occitane products in the bathroom smelled AMAZING!
It was quite remote and the roads to get there/leave were a bit worn so not the fault of The Belfry but just drive safe around there!

So pleased we discovered this little gem. Room was gorgeous, set in spectacular scenery with lots to do nearby. Excellent breakfast, the hatch arrangement worked brilliantly.

It was well located and an average of 30mins drive would get you to the coast. However if you are a light sleeper it's near a main road so can get noisy with the passing cars. They do supply earplugs for those who are a little sensitive to noise.
The rooms and bathroom were well kept and clean. They are spacious enough and beds are comfortable.
I did enjoy the breakfast experience. Its rather unique for a b&b. And the breakfast was hearty, perfect if you have a busy day ahead to work it off.

The breakfast was gorgeous, exceptional quality!
I seem to remember my bed was not so comfy.
