Everything I wanted from my stay, practical and comfortable, as well as very peaceful.
The Lodge was a perfect place to stay, warm, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. I would love to return
Nothing, some things are quirky, like the low position of the front door lock, but these things add to the character.

Affordable accommodation in stunning surroundings
The grounds and gardens were remarkable
We were happy with everything and loved our stay at the cottage. Some of the soft furnishings are a little worn but everything is very clean, we had everything we needed and the host was very attentive.

Perfect cottage for a family or a couple
The little house was spacious and clean. There was a small kitchen with everything we could need. The canopy bed was a queen sized bed and was the perfect size. The garden was magnificent. We loved the graciousness of Timothy. He gave us a tour of the gardens with all of us history and if his house. It was easy to get around, we rented a car and Cambridge, Fordham and Ely were within easy reach.
We came at the hottest part of the summer (over 100 degrees) and we would have appreciated a fan. The mattress is on wooden slats and we found it very firm. Maybe a mattress topper would help? The towels were also very stiff. Maybe a little fabric softener would help.

Exceptional
The Netherall Manor was an excellent place for lodging and experiencing true British hospitality. The Manor was an amazing historical experience. Mr. Clark, Lord of the Manor, was extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating to our every need. He was quite endearing and was willing to go above and beyond to ensure our utmost happiness. We were quite happy in choosing to stay at Netherall Manor! We shall return to this beautiful home when we visit the UK again. Thank you Lord Clark for making this a most magnificent holiday.
There was nothing not to like. Netherall Manor is a lovely place to stay.
