It was one of the more “affordable” options and the staff were very friendly
It was very outdated and strangely damp. The location at night felt uneasy at times.

Friendly, and curtious staff. Good selection for breakfast 😋 and a good price for this time of year.

Not a thing..
Property is nothing like any of the photos presented online. It is severely run down and not maintained. Many sections of the hotel look to be condemned or what seems to be renovations that have ceased. Not to mention a horrible smell throughout and stains all over the bedding.

The breakfast was ok. Our room was clean but there was noise in the hallway
The pool either had too much or not enough chlorine as it bothered our eyes. Noise in hallway at bedtime.

Right downtown, close to all amenities, had a pool and a gym.

Friendly staff
The pictures on booking.com look beautiful, but when you get to the hotel, it is under re- construction of 60 rooms. @$144 per night, it was definitely under expectations. The carpet was dirty wth gum stains. The room was a dirty yellow in color. We had 2 small dogs. Ground floor room with carpet. Bathroom window diid not lock outdated Bathroom.. under the sofa bed, there was garbage not picked up. Kitchen outdated. Dark and dreary look. The hotel sign says... a whole new.look.underway. if I had known, I would have given more for a better stay elsewhere.

Room was decent and well maintained in terms of cleanliness through out our stay.
There was no cooling and intercom in the room. I had to complain after which a cooling unit and phone was provided in the room. No hot breakfast was served in the morning on asking, I was told that this is likely to start. There should be hot breakfast.

The staff and, especially housekeeping, were extremely kind and understanding (particularly Sierra).
My father’s credit card has a nonsense $1200 damage charge, which is… well, literal nonsense, and I’ve gotten at least two staff members to confirm, in favour of us. I’ve also photo and video documented things; so don’t try. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

location was great
it was old and the room was small and bathroom was very small. I had booked a room with 2 queen beds and got a room with one bed. I asked to change to the room I booked and there were none available. Disappointed

We were looking forward to the breakfast in the morning but we were shocked when they did not did not have a hot breakfast. even if it was a complimentary breakfast it was still a lack of things. only a few pieces of white bread, couple bagels and one muffin. Was very disappointing and coffee seemed to be taste old (coffee in room was better)

Room was dirty both ice buckets had visible dirt inside and the tub had hair in it!
Also the room had a very bad musty smell.
And the hotel was under construction which is fine but a heads up when checking in would have been nice!

The door on room was broken, no remote for TV and there were extremely drunk and loud and rowdy people in room next door they were eventually kicked out but by then sleeping was hard
If turned on coffee maker the lights went out

The location was near waterfront and downtown shopping. Hotel was in a quiet location.
My only issue was window did not have a screen.
