Pleasant

The location is the best part as it is right at the Centre of the town. There are good restaurants within 1-2 mins walking distance from the hotel. I was also lucky that I found parking at the hotel's parking lot so no issues with this whatsoever. It's accessible as well because they have ramps and an elevator. Hotel staff are nice too.

This hotel is not for light sleepers. It's an old building so there's not much they can do about it. However, the floors are very creeky and you can hear almost everything from your neighbours. I had terrible sleep because on both nights I had neighbours that slept very late on one side and neighbours that woke up very early on the other side. I don't blame the hotel for this because like I said, I know it's because it's an old building. This is just a warning for light sleepers.

A place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view even just outside the window.

The view was amazing and the bed was really soft and comfortable and very spacious. The vibe of the whole inn and room was welcoming and homy. There was easy access to the rest of the town and was basically walking distance to anything because the inn was located in the middle.

The showerhead was a little harsh and if you don’t angle it properly, theres a chance you might flood your bathroom floor. Good thing my partner could reach it and readjust it for me. There were some kids running around and prank calling our room which we found more funny than annoying. Overall, we had a very relaxing time. I’m glad I chose Whistler’s Inn.

Would Stay Again

We loved the rooftop hottub, the pub downstairs was full of live music and pool games, the Italian restaurant was really quite delicious, the location could not have been better. 24 hour front desk staff is a huge bonus, and we were able to check in early and change our room sort of last minute without any fuss- the staff were so friendly.

The blankets were a bit thin, not the most cozy. We tried calling down to ask if it was possible to get any more but front desk must have been busy and we opted to just up the thermostat rather than be a bother.

Parking is convenient. The staff at the front desk at the time when we checked in at around 8pm on Sunday, March 12, 2023 was very friendly and welcoming. He made sure that we parked at the right spot on the street. Our room was very clean. Good location and great value.

Smell horrible like cigarettes, fire alarm went off due to roof vent smoking. Fire alarm went off, then turned off, then went off again, then turned off. Staff did not ensure everyone knew the fire was real

location is perfect, and you can’t beat the rooftop hot tubs.

This property is no longer first come first serve parking for guests. The front counter staff told me that parking was reserved for people who rent suites at the hotel. 80% of the parking stalls sat empty all weekend. This is enough to make me stay somewhere else that can offer all of their guests parking.

Absolutely fine and able to walk the town right out the door was my goal! Achieved in spades

Breath taking views! With the curtains open at night, opening up your eyes in the morning to a snow capped gigantic granite mountain was joyous!

Would love to have been able to have had coffee/danish/yogurt or some such in the cafe! I am early riser; hubby not so much!! So to be able to get out of the room while at he slumbers would be MOST convenient!

Older hotel, great location

Great location, friendly staff

The first room we were in was directly above the bar and was quite loud at night. Staff were very accommodating and switched our room to a much quieter one.

Great if you're there to party...

Centrally located within walking distance to pretty much everything. Roof top Hot tubs were cool but could habe been hotter. Whistle Stop Pub is great with friendy staff and good pub food.

No parking. Other guests were EXTREMELY loud pretty much constantly.

Lack of microwave Fridge in room was not very cold. We had 2 rooms per night and neither fridge was very cold
