Got off to a bad start but improved.

Day staff were helpful and friendly

The man working the front desk was curt when I phoned to advise I would be arriving later than planned, close to midnight. He was unfriendly and confrontational that I tapped on the window (I could see him sitting there) when he didn’t answer the phone to unlock to lobby door. No greeting just jumped into saying he didn’t appreciate the tap on the window. Continued to complain during the entire checkin process. Definitely needs some public relations training. The day staff were amazing which turned my impression of this experience around.

fine except for the dining room

staff and room were fine. breakfast was fine.

parking lot was full at door #3 when we returned at 9 pm. Finally found a tight spot There was a homeless man in the dining room that I found frightening.

Disappointing

The bed was comfortable.

There were brown smears on the shower wall I had to wash off before using the shower. There was black mold in the washroom. There was a blow dryer available but it didn't work. The shampoo dispenser was so empty that not a single drop came out.

We liked everything about it. it’s conveniently located. Quiet and comfortable. Tim Hortons right beside it. great price. beds were super comfy. And there were rooms available when we were stuck and needed them. Staff are helpful and gracious. Air worked great. lots of pillows and towels. Great Choice.

it didn’t have an elevator. I have trouble with stairs and our room was on the third floor. But easily fixed. Manager told me to park at the back of building and the entrance there was only one flight up to the stairs to the third floor and my room was two doors down from that entrance.

Room nice and big

Staff is very friendly, the room is very big and comfortable. .

The minus is the look of the corridor and different entrances of the hotel. It's dirty and doesn't look like very friendly. During night I heard so many teenagers running in the corridor. Having the ice station right beside my room was not very relaxing, bc everytime someone came to pick up ice I heard it.

Clean and bright

There were kids playing in the hall... would have appreciated a quieter section of the motel. Would have appreciated also knowing that the place was under renovation.
