Wonderfull

Perfection! Big apartment equipped with everything you need. Very clean and really close to the beach and city center. The host waited for us when we arrived and gave us useful info about what to visit. She is a great warm person.

Elena is an incredibly kind and disponible host. She helped us from the beginning to the end of our trip in Corfu, telling us about the transports, places to see, etc. The apartment was really cute, cosy and nice located. I 100% recommend this place !

Great location in the center of the village, lots of cafes and restaurants around. Small beach right across the road. Fairly good size apartment, clean and quiet, with a garden view and balcony, equipped kitchen. Elena is a terrific host, helpful with answering questions and giving any support one may require. Great spot to start exploring the island - roughly half an hour drive to Corfu town from where one can go to the north or the south of the island.

The place is a bit uphill, make sure to bring non-slippery shoes. For amazing beaches one has to walk a bit or drive. Prices in local supermarkets are high than on big ones, like SYnka.

You cant find a better room with a view like this for that price! Our host Elena was super nice, she waited for us at the bus stop in the center of Benitses when we arrived and during our stay she was more than willing to help with anything we asked for. The room looks better than in photos and it is extremely clean and equipped with everything you may need. The apartment is located in the heart of the town and it is very close to restaurants and markets. Beaches are literally just across the street :) Highly recommended and would definitely choose it again next time.

Went twice in one summer!

Very enjoyable. Lovely staff. Close to the beach and tavernas (there’s a bit of an incline so might not be great for people who aren’t very mobile) but nicely tucked away. Perfect silence at night except the owls hooting - lovely!

Pillows were quite hard but some people prefer them like that. Cleaning was a bit hit and miss - done some days but not others. However, the owner put this right straightaway when we mentioned it.

Summertime in Benitses

My stay with Sunflower Apartments was brilliant. The owners were brilliant so helpful and friendly, came down to meet me in Benitses Marina when I could not find my way to their place. Sheets and towels changed every other day, room cleaned daily. I had originally booked 2 weeks, then my travel plans changed and did not need to leave for another week and a half. I emailed to enquire about extra days, they got back to me within the hour and were able to accommodate me for the full dates I wanted. Amazing. Just amazing. Great location. 2-3 minutes tops walk to Benitses Marina, Restaurants, supermarkets and the Beach. The view from my room was of the Marina. No outside noise heard from within the room. Air con - which is needed in the summer Corfu heat. And a kitchenette with everything you need. For my reason of travel this place was absolutely brilliant. Thank you for making my time here perfect.

That I had to leave so that someone else could enjoy the space. For those who do not like hills this property is on one. It can be tough in the heat when carrying a 6 pack of water, but not really and it’s worth it. There is outdoor furniture in the centre of the property that you can chill on once your up the hill and before you head to your room!

Wonderful vacation!

Everything was excellent! Elena met us on the bus/taxi stop and showed to the apartment (spacious and clean). The view to the sea and mountains from the balcony, rooms and even kitchen was beautiful. All the rooms airconditioned and comfortable, the kitchen had all necessary (refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, pot, frying pan, electric kettle, plates, utensils, etc.). Elena was very nice and helped us with all we asked. Location (as many already mentioned) is "strategic" and quiet. It takes only 2-3 minutes to the center of Benitses with tavernas (our choice - Paxinos, even shorter way), shops and the bus stop. + additional 20 meters to the beach. Nice old houses, church and narrow streets around (worth taking a tour in the evening), lots of plants blossom and smell amazingly. Bus #6 can take you to Corfu town (about 30 minutes and costs 1,5 euro). Timetable is on the bus stop (changes quite often). There is a ticket machine there but it's easier to buy the tickets in Kavalieratos "supermarket" just on the corner where the street from the apartment meets the "central square" (Elena, thank you for advising!)). If we decide to visit Corfu again, definitely will stay here. Highly recommend!

Strongly recommended!

Email contact with the host very quick and friendly. Host was waiting at the bus stop and took me directly to the apartments. So it was very easy to get the key and no problem to find it. Apartment very clean and very good equipped. The sea view fantastic!!!

For us everything was OK but you must be aware that apartments are located on the hill. Which was compensated with the great view!

A good place to stay

Everything was very good. The place was clean, the cleaner came to check everyday. The apartment has all the necessary things like (air-conditioning, kettle, fridge, a cooker/oven, cutlery, plates, glasses) We found the apartment a very good spot close to the beach, restaurants, pubs. All the pictures is exactly the same what is the apartment. Elena was very kind and helpful.
