strong smell of sulfate in room causes headache & nausea

The room smelt like sulfate so bad that we had to move rooms. The smell made me extremely nauseous and gave me a headache. We moved from a king suite into a double-double room (so much smaller) due to no other king suites being available. Also, on our first night I was called at 1:30am by the front desk telling me that my vehicle was left running. When got out of bed to check it wasn’t my car. They should write down license plate numbers or have a better system so things like this don’t happen.

A great stay with friendly staff.

The room I stayed in on the third floor was a peaceful retreat, offering a lovely view that provided a moment of respite from the daily hustle. It was remarkably quiet, with no disruptions from neighboring rooms, creating an ideal space for studying without distractions. The serene ambiance of the room allowed for focused and productive study sessions, making it a comfortable and conducive environment to achieve academic goals.

The temperature of the water was not cold enough.

It was a good value for what I spent.

The location was good. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

The breakfast had limited seating. Had to ask front desk for towels. There was not a hot tub with the pool.

Very convenient location, staff were all friendly and outgoing, the free breakfast was a better selection that expected. Warm welcome for our pup.

I wished the room had two chairs so it was easier to eat in our room, there was one table in the lobby for people to use, but the dining area is off limits after breakfast.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

My one disappointment was being hit with a $12/night charge to park my car in the hotel parking lot. Such a charge felt petty and had never been mentioned when I booked the hotel. I was very happy checking into the hotel until I was informed of this extra price. It made me feel resentful and tricked. It is standard for a traveler to rent a car to travel to their hotel and beyond. This was like being charged to breathe the oxygen in the hotel.

A nice stay overlooking the gas station makes for some great sight seeing and the workout is nice.

The friendly receptionist and housekeeper lady.

The price to stay an extra day seemed a bit high.

Great hotel

The staff was very friendly. The hotel and our room was very clean. Our room was very nice and spacious. They served a good breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The texts from the staff during my visit. If was a little annoying that the staff texted me a few times to ask about my visit.

Great stay, great location, great value

Breakfast had several great choices and food quality was better than most hotels. Only 1.2 miles to Torrey Pines Beach and only 20 minutes from most attractions in San Diego

No laundry on site. Other than that no complaints

I do like this hotel for comfort and quality. Good location for family business we attend to monthly.

Upon departure the male desk agent declined my request for a bottle of water. He said only gold and Diamond members can get a free water. Pretty sure Hilton can afford to give me a bottle of water if I ask and I just paid 200.00 for the night b

Pillows and bed very comfortable. In general the whole hotel. I would totally recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much.

Probably have a little more options for breakfast but it's not a big deal. I still would definitely stay at a Hampton inn again.
