Very recommended!

The staff and the owner was extremely friendly and helped us with everything we needed! The rooms where well equipped and large enough for our needs and also very quiet. The location is amazing, right on the beautiful beach of Sougia.

The bathroom was somewhat small.

Sougia is a small, pleasant place to stay and is perfect to walk the Samaria ind Irini gorges.

A great location, just a few hundred metres from the ferry and 100m from the bus stop for the 7am bus to the top of Samaria. The rooms were clean and air conditioned. The sea front bar is comfortable and the hotel has a very pleasant courtyard seating area. They were happy to let us leave our cases near reception after we had checked out.

We have stayed before and will again but some of the rooms are a bit dark.

Santa Irene is about value over luxury.

The room was clean, although rather dark. It opened onto a balcony, but that was shared with two other rooms--not a lot of privacy there. The location is really excellent, and the staff are very helpful. I think that, for the price, you aren't likely to do better.

The room was very dim with no exterior windows. There was a full door and window but these opened to a curious internal, shared balcony.

A nice place to stay in Sougia. Parking is a short walk down the street. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, making sure we had a place to sit on the beach, and recommending a restaurant a minute's walk away (which turned out to be excellent). He also gave good advice on hiking Irene Gorge and to Lissos. I'd happily stay here again.

Whenever we come to Soughia we stay at Santa Irene and it always is this "coming home" feeling which we appreciate and enjoy so much. We find the ideal combination of cozy accomodation and friendly owners and staff. The rooms are tidy, the shower was really powerful, the garden is like a little paradise to relax, the restaurant offers food and drinks all day long, the view is fantastic and the chairs are very comfortable to hang around and just look into the wide endlessness of the blue sea. There are beds on the beach and everything is kept clean and tidy. There is a lot of passion and work from the owners and all the staff to offer this perfect holiday feeling to the guests. Been to Soughia so many times and Santa Irene has become our homebase there. We will be back!

A great place to spend a night at a beautiful beach!

Great location, right next to beach and shops, and great restaurant with beachside seating.

The shower is the tiniest shower ever, and it was hard to wash my long hair in it.

We has such a beautiful stay here, everything was perfect. Wonderful helpful staff gave us all the info about where to get the bus tickets for Samaria Gorge, what time the bus leaves in the morning and from where, helped us with our situation of lost phone chargers and gave us helpful awesome advices. The place is so beautiful, full of flowers and lovely seating area in the garden, gorgeous spacious room, modern bathroom with glass door shower, well equipped kitchen, lovely restaurants by the beach, mini market, bakery, bars, coffee shop all at a doorstep. Sougia is such a chilled out place with a lovely vibe of all the hikers relaxing after the amazing Samaria Gorge trek. We loved our stay here.

Great location and friendly staff. Sougia is a brilliant small town with a stunning beach and interesting attractions a short trip away (such as lassos ruins). Nice sized rooms that are very clean,the taverna is also great for a drink or some food. would highly recommend.

Big room with balcony. Helpfull and informative manager (owner) and room service as well. Very quiet and directly on the beach. a good cafe/bar on the beach. Close to hicking tours. The village Sougia has the charme of a former pack packer destination.

the equipment of the kitchen corner was a bit poor. Due to our very early season booking, not breakfast was available and restaurants were on the way to open

The hotel is renovated But still old. If you don’t mind for some smalls that can’t be cover be cleaning. Anyway recommended because of the hight warm hospitality.

A great position. Great sea-front terrace bar. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Michail allowed us to leave our bags in reception when we arrived there after the ferry got in at 09:10 in the morning, whilst we walked the Irini gorge. We did the same two days later when we checked out at 7am and returned in the 18:15 ferry.

Absolutely Loved it!

Same as our visit last year….superb. …..the room , balcony, view , staff ,comfortable beds, brilliant air con,…….atmosphere, sun beds on the beach, all very good. 🙏 thank you. God willing we will be back next year.

Bit of trouble with the bathroom door. Needs a new lock. That’s all ….otherwise perfect.

I Really appreciated the quiet of the hotel. The location of the hotel is fantastic, near the sea and manu nice bars and restaurants. On the beach of the hotel you have your own reserved umbrella and sun loungers, wonderfull!!
