No frills, low amenity, safe place to stay for a Huntington Beach trip

Proximity to Huntington Beach. Quick Lyft ride to the beach. Close to a Starbucks, CVS, restaurants, and grocery store. Felt safe and secure. Affordable. On-site, free parking. Full dorm-size fridge in the room. Full cable with HBO. Super friendly desk staff. This was a great place to stay for the Darker Waves festival in Huntington Beach. Coffee in the main office during the morning.

Location is right next to the freeway. Definitely loud. If you're sensitive, you may want to ask for a room on the wing that does not face the freeway. It did not bother us, but it would bother people who are sensitive to noise. No, in-room coffee. Bathroom amenities were sparse consisting of 2 bars of soap only. Short on power outlets.

Comfortable bed and room. Especially for my cat, she was also comfortable. Nice motel to stay at. My nephew also stays there when he visits.

Dante's Hell is real.

Nothing. It was clean. That's it . .

The website shows a pool, it is actually filled in with dirt. Less than a foot from the 405 fwy. The noise is unbearable. Pure torture. The texture of the freeway makes the tires sound like there is someone screening. Pure insanity. The front desk clerk, well, you can tell she hates her life the worst place I have chosen, ever

very horrible experience. rude and disrespectful staff. asked for some cleaning wipes to wipe down the shower ourselves

The location

There was no parking when i had come back late at Night. There was a dog in the room next to me that kept barking. There was also people loitering outside the rooms.

Okay if you just need a place to sleep, but not a good place if you need to work remotely.

Close to the Reptile Zoo, which was my reason for travel.

Bed was uncomfortable, and the wifi didn't really work. Blinds don't block out the light, so I was up at 5 am, and it made it hard to sleep.

Great motel for when you're on the road. Clean, tidy and well-lit parking

Motel 6 is actually always near a high/freeway. I have slept in many motel 6, but this room did have a lot of motorway noise. Like trucks were driving through your room. But all fine, there were earplugs waiting for us.

it was cleaned pretty well. i took sanitizer wipes,paper towels, and cleaner thinking it may need to be cleaned for me to comfortable but All the surfaces and floors were good. the mattresses were actually really good. they came and cleaned the room once during our four night stay without us asking. staff was friendly people staying there were nice. i was pleasantly surprised!! during Christmas I changed my plans to stay at a different hotel as the price was RIDICULOUS so I didn’t expect much when we got there and will for sure be staying with them again for the price point it was actually better then expected. nothing fancy. NO BUGS or critters.

it’s by the freeway. we have kids so it wasn’t a bother but if your a light sleeper and like to sleep past 5am it may not be a good spot for you. didn’t bother us I probably wouldn’t have noticed if I didn’t read so many reviews before my stay.

It was ok but not much else to say…

The girl who checked us in was nice, not rude.

The room smelled musty. There isn’t enough parking for as many rooms as there are. Maybe they should’ve kept how many rooms they built to how many parking spots available. Anyways, for the price it was ok and we only needed to stay one night but there’s no way I would stay there for longer visits.

Very small bath towels, just a soap and a lot of freeway noise. The acoustics could be improved for the comfort of guests.

Easy Check-in and Check-out process. Clean rooms. Pet is allowed.

I paid for a disability room access but one of the room I got is not. I paid for a non-smoking room but the room smelled like someone smoked cigarettes and weeds.
