A maior vantagem do hotel é a localização, perto do Central Park e com metrô bem embaixo. E o custo-benefício.
Em fev de 2023 e, agora, maio de 2024, sempre um dos elevadores estava estragado. O hotel é enorme e recebe muitos grupos, tem grande fluxo de pessoas entrando e saindo e sempre é dificílimo usar o elevador sem filas. Muito tempo perdido de espera pra sair e chegar. Na hora do check out, então é um desespero.
Desta vez, um funcionário no balcão nos cobrou U$ 50 para nos colocar no quarto antes do horário do check-in. Aceitamos, mas qdo chegamos no quarto, ele era de meio e não com city view como reservamos. Tivemos que descer com todas as malas, colocar no maleiro e esperar pelo quarto da nossa reserva. Muito desagradável. Até a colega do atendente na concierge estranhou e pareceu não entender a cobrança do valor para early check in (ano passado entramos mais cedo no quarto e não pagamos nada por isto) e a cancelou na hora. Mas depois recebemos um quarto de acordo com o reservado.
Outra coisa: no check in, é de praxe os hotéis passarem o cartão num valor de U$ 100, como garantia, mas o Park Central passou U$ 800,00. Pelo menos este ano estornaram a cobrança, pois ano passado entrou U$ 700 na minha fatura, que não foi estornado e tivemos que acionar o Booking para solicitar o reembolso, pois todos os valores e taxas já estavam pagos na reserva. Necessita atenção!

It was clean and comfortable.
Restaurant not open on Sunday or Monday and the staff could have been friendlier other than one of the cleaners who was extremely helpful and friendly.

I can only sau I liked two things about his hotel. location and the cleanliness. THAT’S YET
First, ony one elevator is working and had to stay like 10-20 minutes and wait..
Second, the awful noise getting from the fans outside, couldn’t sleep at all..

Las habitaciones son cómodas pero mi cuarto olía a pies. Creo que alguna vez se inundó y la alfombra empieza a pudrirse.
También considero que los empleados de mostrador podrían ser más amables. Son muy groseros y ni siquiera voltean a verte.
El elevador es MUY lento.

Location only
Cleanliness of the room, staff attitude-were very standofish and not very hospitable, elevator was broken only 1 available in the entire property making it very inconvenient, the amenities were lacking.

The elevator services, the deposit which was 100$ per night!!! And they haven’t returned back to me even that I left the room as it is.

The room not meet the rate value we paid .
The staff are un friendly at reception . When we reach at hotel no wellcoming word . Our bags we carry them by our self no help.
There are no USB CONNECTIONS in our room . The telephone equipment is very old and not working good ( voice not good)we ask to change they didnt do it.
One elevator only is working for the floor 10 and up to 20 .we have to wait long time in the lobby . The other elavator not working.
I dont think to tell & encourage my friends and other to stay at the Park central hotel in NEW YORK☹️

Great location, ideally placed. Everything is close-by, hotel is clean and nice.
Half of the elevators closed for renovations, it would be smarter to do them one at a time.
The window in the room was not isolated at all, 100% of street noises were coming in which is not nice at all during the night.

The hotel's location and design are standout features. While the rooms are comfortable, it's noticeable that they could use some renovation. There was no minibar in the room initially, but when requested, it was promptly provided.
The hotel does not offer breakfast, and it could benefit from having a table and chairs in the room to compensate for this absence. However, these were minor inconveniences that did not disrupt the overall experience. One of the elevators remains out of service; we occasionally had to wait for a considerable amount of time, but it didn't pose significant issues.

The hotel is clean and has a security guard on at night to keep non-guests out. The service staff were very friendly. The location is ideally located near multiple subway stations.
The elevators are being renovated. My room was on a lower floor, so I could walk up, but had I been on a higher floor I would have been bothered by the slow elevator service.

A/C and Heating control is terrible. The room became so hot fast. We had to leave our room because of a hot temp in that room. I told the Front desk about it. I don't know if they did check it.

Beds were very comfortable. Great view to the street and quiet. Nice hot water.
The room heater made a lot of noice. The temperatur was hard to regulate. noice from the hall. Good we stayed at 5th floor to take the stairs - alot of que by the elevator. Door, wall etc. a little run down in the room.

We know the location well and it’s the main attraction.
The elevators were appalling. There were signs asking us to bear with them but it really was unacceptable. When the call buttons broke and I had to use the stairs the staff member merely commented that they could not be responsible for electronics. Hotels now charge facility fees - we should get a discount off that is something this central isn’t working. Two other bugbears - street noise in the middle of the night was the worst I have experienced and rooms have nowhere near enough lighting. You can’t get dressed in a room that just has bedside lamps and a desk lamp.

The property is in a great location.
The elevators did not work, my rooms bathroom didn’t have a shower curtain, the refrigerator in the room did not work. When I brought up the issue of no shower curtain to the guy at the checkout desk he could have cared less. I checked out at 12:00pm on Wednesday 3/20/2024 and will never check in there again.

Good location with a friendly staff and nice room.
As mentioned (but only after booking) they were completing construction on some floors. One of the two guest elevators was not working (not mentioned) causing major delays moving between floors. Their mitigations (using service elevators) were ok, but it still made for a less desirable experience. It was also clearly a spot for student groups to stay while visiting NYC, so the lobby had a high school cafeteria atmosphere at times.

The hotel is in a good location, convenient for Columbus Circle, the theatre district, Central Park and several subway lines. The bar/lounge area is useful to work in during the day.
In spite of its grand entrance, the lobby doesn't feel particularly welcoming or special and staff were more or less invisible. Only one elevator was working and we were required to use the service elevator to get out of the building, which involved waiting hours beside the dustbins, which really doesn't feel acceptable for the price of this hotel - I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable recommending it to friends/colleagues/clients for this reason alone. Oh, and the corridor to my room stank of weed for all four days of my stay, which was pretty unappealing.

Nessun tipo di servizio incluso. Il bar era chiudeva presto ed il corner colazione veramente scarso.
Gli ascensori non funzionavano e bisognava passare da quelli di servizio che erano veramente sporchi!
Camere datate. Chiaramente abbiamo pagato troppo. Dei B&B meglio di questa struttura a miglior costo ne esistono molti, visti anche i servizi inesistenti.
Si paga solo la posizione (Central Park) ed il periodo (Natale).
Lo sconsiglio a chiunque voglia recarsi a New York.

The elevators took forever. One morning I waited 12 minutes. One day I walked down 9 flights. Very unpleasant!
The elevators, and the general maintenance. My bathtub had problems with the plug. The bathroom door was peeling and the rooms were very dark

Great location, comfortable bed, excellent housekeeping. Essentially a serviced room in a fantastic part of Manhattan with nearby subway stations. Free wi-fi although a bit slow. There is google chromecast on the tv (but I could only connect on the first day)
The elevator was terrible. Only one elevator meant long queues coming or going, waits up to 20 minutes either way. No amenities or facilities in the bathroom or bedroom e.g., dental kit, shower cap, coffee or tea. Hairdryer and iron provided but both broken. Essentially, a bare room with a bed. Cold blue lighting in the lightbulbs of the lamps gave the room a sterile feel.

Chrome cast advertised on tv but didn’t work my whole stay, ice machines in the hallways didn’t work .

We waren zeer tevreden over het hotel en komen zeker nog een keer terug.
Voor mijn dochter waren er speciale verassingen geregeld op de kamer nadat ik hier, heel fijn en goed, e-mail contact met Matthew over had gehad.
De liften maar dat is bekend. Het duurt soms erg lang voordat je met de lift kunt.

Die Lage ist’s…
Wir waren sechs Nächte in der Vorweihnachtszeit… es ging nur 1 (!!!) Lift und der Service Elevator, damit Wartezeiten bis zu 10 Minuten, absolut indiskutabel.
Keine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, für USA schon ungewöhnlich.
Kein WLAN für drei Tage….

Room was far too hot, we had to sleep with the windows open and it was very loud. Elevator situation was not great.

Only one elevator was working, so sometimes there was a long wait for the elevator. But there was a sign that said they were working on improving that.
