Total fuckup.

Bed was ok.

I thought I made a reservation for the Double Tree St. Paul by Hilton, that is what my reservation also indicated. In fact it was the Double Tree St. Paul East by Hilton. That caused a major glitch in my plans. Also, the WiFi, refrigerator, and thermostat did not work. Two of us were in the room, but there was only one chair. Staff told us they didn’t have another chair. Worst hotel experience of my life.

NEVER AGAIN

Bed, pillows, restaurant.

Hotel canceled my reservation, no cups for water, no coffee cups, extremely low water pressure. Booking.com saved the day by taking care of the cost of a room for me.

The motel was very busy on our second night with two big events taking place upstairs venues.

Did not get any of the coupons that were advertised to come with the room. Breakfast was done serving at 10:00 and not 11:00 like we thought so we missed it. Had to drive around a long distance to find an APPLEBEES to eat.

The restaurant is a joke. You had to go sit in the bar and WAIT for a bartender to bring a menu, which never happened. I found one lying on the bar and took it to our table to read it. Extremely expensive and SHORT menu. No one came to take our order so we left. There were only 6 people sitting at the bar and no one had any food!!!! We ended up ordering Dominos pizza.

Overall a disappointing stay. But for just one night, it got the job done.

It was a good location. The bed was comfy. Great staff.

Our “non smoke” floor smelt very bad of marijuana, contacted the front desk but nothing was resolved and we were stuck with a bad smell our entire stay. Our shower floor was very dirty when we arrived. The pool had many unsupervised children, as we were the only adults in the pool area, we did not like feeling liable/responsible for all of the misbehaving children.

The staff was great, very friendly. Really nice hotel.

Last night there was a wedding party and adults and children were running up and down the halls till way past midnight. There was people drinking in front of the hotel as well as smoking weed. There was alcohol spilled in the lobby and elevator. The staff as friendly as can be didn’t seem to have a good handle on the situation. I’m sure the party brought them a lot of money but it would have been nice to consider other guests in the hotel.

Need better protocols to handle disruptive and noisy guests.

The front desk lady was awesome and sweet. She was respectful. The rooms were very clean and nice. Bed comfortable.

I didn't like that the room across from our room was so noisy. The adults were having a private birthday party in there with guests that were NOT STAYING at the hotel. It was like sleeping across from a bar. The people across the room was yelling, screaming, making loud noises for 3 hours from 9pm-midnight. Requested security to tell them to keep it down but that didn't work. Need better protocol to handle something like this matter so it's not disruptive for other guests staying at the hotel.
