Location,cleanliness
We made a reservation for Skyline View and that how it was advertised on booking. But the hotel gave us a city view room and want to charge 300 dollars more to get what we paid for. It is a scam. We live in NJ and they thought that we are some stupid tourists.
One of the elevators didn’t work. So there was a huge line for the elevator.

Perfectly located hotel for a New York vacation with great facilities and staff
The wifi was not the best and limited to a certain amount of devices. One could upgrade for extra charge… Feels strange that a relatively expensive and premium hotel is cheaping out on wifi

I like the pictures on the website and music when you come into the room.
The view was much worse like in every cheap 4 star hotel. This is a bad idea to stay there. The room wasn’t clean enough: dusty, some black paints on the walls, not helping staff, cannot open the window inside the room, noisy (staff can knock on your door 3-4 times per day and also you hear everything what is outside your unit in the corridor), small amount of mould in the toilet and it would be OK in expensive locations. I stayed in 5 * hotels in Upper East side, West side, you know, you feel comfortable in that hotels (I compare only the same price - for this hotel I paid 1600 dollars per 2 nights), you feel good because if you would like to invite somebody - he would say WOW and wouldn’t think that you tried to economize. But I really regret of staying there. After I saw the bad view and some dust after check in I immediately went down to the lobby and they didn’t try to change the situation. They tried to persuade me to rent the same corner room like on the picture I booked for 1500 per one night or call the booking. I want to add the pictures below just to show: dust (it can be dangerous combination for sensitive people - close windows and the dust just near the bad) mould, the view in the view king room, some yellow spots, old furniture.. only 4 pics can apply

I love the location and the staff. I’ve stayed several times and the rooms before were in better shape. The two I stayed in this time were a bit run down and the showers leaked in both bathrooms. The south facing rooms seem to be in better shape.

The property, the views, the staff...AMAZING! I'd advise if you're afraid of heights or the sounds most buildings make when the wind blows (common) stay midway or below. But you'll miss out on the spectacular views!
Nothing...honestly!

Great view. Comfortable bed. Amazing bathroom and good hotel gym!
The communication or relationship between the hotel and booking.com. I would not stay at this hotel again through booking.com. I would book directly through the hotel.

Location. Nothing more to like about the place.
800 bucks a night room was worse than 300 bucks by all possible means: dirty rooms, not helpful stuff, not working equipment and amenities. Frankly speaking, this is the worst hotel experience in a long time.
