Great as always

Beautiful, classy resort with award winning restaurant, steam, spa, indoor and outdoor pool.

Minor snafu- Fitness center cancelled classes during the holiday week without notifying the resort.

relaxing, enjoyable...would definitelyt return

customer service before I even got there! the rep intervened with a Priceline discrepancy about reservations and handled it for me...extremely helpful service while at resort was also excellent... food at onsite restaurants was also excellent

told the room had a balcony, but the balcony (room 212) was literally only about 10 inches wide!! you could only stand straight up out there! no tissues in the room no extra towels

nice facility. friendly staff. quality amenities and mostly well kept. beautiful marina area....

expensive for what was served....limited menu..food was okay pool area not as clean as it could be. young kids working the restaurant were 'lost' didn't answer weren't attentive

We come to Saybrook Point as often as we can, and every anniversary we stay for the weekend- love it

Wr love the location, facilities- we can stay for the weekend and do not need to leave the property unless we want to.

the food service at the pool could be run more efficiently. it’s really great to be able to order food and drinks at the pool but the service seemed poorly organized, although the servers themselves were great. you could get those buzzer things, or use place numbers. I ordered the raw tuna at lunch and the server put it down in the sun at another table. took 15 mins to figure it out.

Beautiful weekend getaway in Old Saybrook

The location and accommodations were fabulous, as was the food. The view from our room was beautiful and the weekend felt like a real vacation with the pools, drinks, and ambiance.

We missed breakfast by 5 minutes and were turned away and had to wait for brunch for a 1/2 hour

we had a great stay and hope to be able to revisit on another occasion

our room was lovely,all of our meals were delicious and nicely presented but the best thing of all was the exceptional staff throughout the resort

It would have been a good idea to have grab bars in the bath/shower for safety and the mattress on the bed in room 330 could use an upgrade.

Superb

The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. Terry and Scott were wonderful in getting our room available to check in earlier than the check in time. Everyone was so accommodating! They even provided me with a small toothpaste when i asked where I can purchase some. The dinners at the marina were delicious! Service was terrific! The staff at the spa were wonderful. I enjoyed my massage with Jeff. He was very considerate of my areas that were sensitive to pain. Very knowledgeable. The outdoor pool was so refreshing, the temperature of the pool was surprisingly perfect! The indoor pool and facilities were awesome also. I would definitely stay at your hotel again and I will highly recommend it to friends! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

I didn't like the fact that the toiletries had a purchase price on them. I was afraid to use them and be charged $15.00 for each bottle. I wasn't sure if the price was listed in case you wanted to buy the product or if you used it it for two days you would be charged. Luckily I had my own products that I brought with me. I also think that bottled water should be given complimentary and should not have to be purchased from the refrigerator for over $5 a bottle.

Girls perfect getaway weekend.

The view was amazing and location perfect. Staff friendly,not stuffy, very accommodating. Food delicious.

Beautiful resort on the water

Room was clean, quiet and well appointed. The weather could have been better so unfortunately we did not get to enjoy the deck overlooking the water.. The pub was great and room service was great also!

Perfect location at the mouth of the Connecticut River on the Sound. This property is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return

Best place to relax

Resort is one of our favorite places. It’s beautiful, comfortable and a great place to relax

Other guests that were rude and nasty. Overheard a guest at Fresh Salt being verbally abusive to staff, it was very upsetting and the girl had done nothing wrong.

place was nice situated close to outlets and a nice town, shuttle buses were included to and from town for dinners

Elegant and peaceful getaway, where you feel as if you’re on a movie set about a Christmas Story in a Connecticut mansio

I would describe the decor as American mansion chic. Seeing the marina, one might expect a beach theme inside. Nope, and it’s quite exquisite inside every inch.

there is an indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor pool is of typical size. The outdoor pool is smaller than I like but, it’s understandable given the location right on the Marina.
