Solid.

The Starbucks type operation was good. Very friendly and the limited menu met our needs. I also liked the fitness center...clearly above average.

The parking garage entrance design is horrible. It forced us to get out of our car to use the room key to open the gate. Very inconvenient.

Great staff, facilities need attention

Proximity to UVA was great. I liked having the sofa area in the room and a refrigerator. The staff were wonderful - very nice and helpful and check-in and out was easy.

It smelled like smoke, both cigarette and weed. It needs a deep clean. Our shower had visible mold. The linens were old, worn out, and scratchy and came off the corners of the bed during the night. And, the bottles in the shower all said the same thing “39 North”. No clue what was what.

Done with Marriott hotels

There was blood on the bed cover and not real clean. We were told we get a free breakfast and had to pay $35 for it tryed to call could not get anyone to help us. We go to Charlottesville to the hospital and will not stay at a Marriott

Gréât location

Location is very good . The handyman repaired something in our room very quickly and was quite helpful.

The room was not cleaned daily but perhaps we could have requested it. The towels were replaced though every day .

I'm glad we chose to stay here due to the great location, clean facilities and comfortable beds.

I paid extra for the "free" breakfast when I made my reservation online. However, when I inquired about it, they said I didn't get free breakfast. I showed them my email confirmation that said I did have breakfast included and then they allowed it. There wasn't a huge selection but what we did order was good.

I didn't love that I had to pay extra for parking. It was also a little loud being next to the hospital. We did hear ambulances sometimes. Also, the a/c and heat "machine" was very loud.

Great location and friendly staff!

The property was in walking distance of UVA medical center. Shops and restaurants were steps away. Staff was very accommodating.

We had a difficult time finding the property because of the small signage on the main roadway. We were a little confused with the main entrance being on the side street.

Very good

The friendly staff. Very nice e and helpful.

My refrigerator and micro leave were unplug and I couldn't get to the outlet to plug them in. Called front desk and someone came and fixed it within the hour.

Alacarte breakfast, while Starbucks is nice throw a free option in their if I'm spending $200+ a night at least throw in a free coffee with a bagel or banana.

Great place to stay for appointments at the hospital if you are an out of town visitor.

We came to Charlottesville because I had a doctor's appointment downtown. I wanted a hotel close enough within walking distance. This location was perfect.

Never have I had to pay for parking at the hotel I was staying at for the night. This is a negative as far as using the Marriott again. Being a senior citizen, the Marriott should take this into consideration.

Location

Have to pay for parking and breakfast. You can find many places with both included. Had to ask for sheets and blanket for sofa-bed. Air conditioning unit in room smelled like dust.

Location is perfect for UVA visit. I really appreciate having a microwave. Room comfortable.

In a three day stay, I never had housekeeping service.
