Never again.

Room had broken slider lock adjacent to pool. I reported this as I was leaving for an event upon returning it hadn’t been fixed. I requested another room, this one had leaks in the faucet handles. The location was extremely noisy. Upon checking in at the desk I confirmed that we were with USTA and our parking rate per day was $20. My bill showed $30. per day so before leaving that had to be changed. The only high mark I can give Walnut Creek Marriott is for the garage staff.

Most of my reading was confidential and therefore not on my computer. Waste of my time! Disappoint

Cleaning staff seemed to be on the floor all morning into the early afternoon. I had tested Covid 19 positive prior to check in. I didn't have the cleaning staff come into the room while I was there. I took the trash to her in the hallway and also picked up clean towels 1 time during my stay.

The lighting was very poor. There was no place in the room that had enough lighting with which to read! Even the desk area had very poor lighting. I didn't want to go the the lobby being Covid positive, out of respect for others. It looked like 4pm on a winter day during what should have been daylight. I have been a Bonvoy member for at least the past 25-30 years and never have I been disappointed in the accommodations. I'll have to be more watchful when I make future reservations as the standard for Marriott was definitely not adhered to.

Would not be my first choice in Walnut Creek

All the staff were great, rooms very clean

The room was dreadfully dark. Cold lighting, everything brown or black, very uncozy. Couldn’t wait to get out of it. Breakfast overpriced, eggs like old sponges. Did not like having to pay $30 for parking

The room was comfortable and for the most part clean.

I was surprised that the mouthwash was used. I didn’t realize it until I used it and noticed the silver foil was gone, that pretty much ruined my stay.

after we sort out the room situation, the stay was great

the location is great and also the room was great. the communication to the property had to be done through the third party which was booking.com, however they failed to accommodate and communicate with the property, the front desk was very accommodating when I showed him the convo between me and booking.com. he was appologetic and accommodated very quickly.

the valet price is high but the crew is very nice and professional, however the high price of valet per night did not leave any room for additional tip for the crew.

The location was very convenient. The room was nice and clean.

I didn't like the fact that when I checked in, I was told (for the first time) that there was a $100 non-refundable fee for having my dog with me. I just thought that was an excessive fee for one night.

One day stay was pleasant

Room was comfortable and the bathroom was large enough to accommodate us well. Bed was comfortabe and the shower was clean and had a strong water output.

The room had a window facing apartments that can be sewn through . The walls floors were dirty & the bathroom sink was leaking . I just want to be refunded for my stay

The bar and restaurant were nice, but the bar closes at 10pm which is super lame.

This hotel is very old, and its age is very obvious from the moment you walk in. This hotel is way too old to charge what they charge, The room is just the beds and the "work station" is too small. The shower is in a tub - seriously, in 2023 they still have a tub shower at a Marriott. The beds are way too hard, way too short and the pillows are way too fluffy.

it’s value for money but needs some improvements

the walls between the rooms are too thin can hear and disturbed by neighbours

Exceptional

The staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was nice. Breakfast was delicious!

Everything was pretty great. My only suggestion would be avoid the fettuccine Alfredo. It was dry and hard to eat. Everything else was wonderful. Would stay here again. 100%

mediocre at best

the property was nice and easy to get to. The lobby was pretty. Valet was friendly

the room. The room wasn’t anything that I’d expect from the Marriott, maybe a motel 6 which is next door. the room was super dark, the tv kept coming off and on and two lights kept flickering. I had to work in the evening and there was no desk space. the refrigerator didn’t work either which meant the milk I had purchased went off quickly. bathtub looked like it needed to be changed a few years ago - not what the pictures showed.
