horrible

staff was friendly

they were holes in the walls. The ceiling was chipping from water damage. The sink in the shower both had hairs in them. The windows had dirt and bugs in them. The room had a foul smell that ended up breaking me out into a rash the bed had hair and pieces of dirt in it didn’t even stay the night left. Wanted to refund didn’t get a refund.

it wasn’t worth the price. I just needed a quiet night away to catch up on my sleep

room was cold and took forever too warm up. loud noises outside which I thought someone was messing around and it wasn’t the traffic. caused me to get up out of bed too look out the window. bruised my leg on the bed when coming into room due to the bed frame was sticking out. strong air freshener smell which caused my allergies to flare up. the sink wasn’t cleaned very well

Horrible. I had booked for 4 nights, but left after one. The owner would not refund my money.

the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and the toilet was disgusting. The thermostat was broken and the tv received only one channel. there was an unpleasant odor in the room and it was dirty.

Great value for a comfy bed!

The staff were very friendly and made the stay pleasant. The bed is very comfy and clean. Great value for a good night sleep as it was quiet.

I stayed a total of 2 nights, the first room was great. Then when I got a second night, I had to switch rooms and the second room and bathroom could definitely use some maintenance as the microwave didn’t heat, the toilet was nearly broken. When it says breakfast included, I was disappointed to see there was only some old Frosted Flakes in a dispenser that stays out on the counter.

Gratiot Literbox Motel

There were no redeeming qualities.

When I first walked in the room you were hit with a pungent odor of what smelled like cat urine. There was actually kitty liter on the floor. The bathroom door was busted up. They didn't even have batteries in the remote. Had to get them from the front desk. The odor was so strong it burned our nose and eyes. We paid 87.00 dollars to sleep in a liter box that had not been cleaned in years.

The couple who ran the place were nice a d responsive. Owner apparently puts no dollars into upkeep

Mouse on table at 8pm, spots over wall everywhere, faucet on sink worked but not fastened to sink. Cigarette burns in comforters . Refrigerator did not work, lost my food. Left with one night left on reservation, no refund.

I would only recommend to someone who wants the best price.

Very friendly and accommodating desk personnel. Location was very good for our needs. Pet friendly. Price unbeatable. Quiet. Microwave and fridge in room.

Bathroom very small, had not been cleaned properly. Not recommended for overweight people! Room not as clean is we would like. No breakfast "due to COVID-19."

I arrived to a room that was not fully cleaned due to the fact its a low budget hotel and we never had an issue we just let it got it wasn't horrible the sheets were definitely not washed..but as time went by we noticed that the TV didn't work so no cable there wifi was very bad there fridge didn't work and as we where leaving we found a roach walking around as I was checking out i just wanted to let the owner know about issues so that he can fix for the next customers and he flipped out on me and cussed me out and than said he was black listing me from his hotel im like wow he called me names and decided that he knows his rooms and they are not a problem so he keep telling me you ppl are the problem he was completely unprofessional and rude I only recommend if its a major emergency....we o ly used the room to sleep and was very disappointed in the action of the hotel owner behavior..

Great stay for the value!

The location was great and for the value it was nice. They were clean, laid back and just what we needed it for to sleep. If I go to Michigan again I will book there. Staff was very friendly!

Nice place to stay!

This is my go to place to stay when I have to come to Saginaw. The rooms are clean. The staff is nice and the price is not bad.

The room was nice and clean. The front desk lady was very friendly.

The bathroom was really small. The pillows were uncomfortable. But overall was a nice stay.
