There are permanent residents living there very friendly. And it sorta has an " home " like feel to it DO not let its appearance deter you from staying. You will regret missing out of the friendly, help reps and residents.
Nothing. Of all the places I've stayed I liked this one most

Location is good near down town Sonora
Didn’t have a fire Alarm it was pulled out of the ceiling !! Pubs on the toilet and shower! Poop on the wall , shower smelt
Like sewage off and on throughout the night it woke me up. Shady people hanging around, kept me up most of the night bc I was worried about my car getting broken into. Smelt cig smoke from the outside .

Free coffee in the morning.
Was nice.
Seen a bunch of guys from India eating all the breakfast making a big mess.
Other then that was good
The door seemed a little finicky but thats about it. Everything else was good.
It's a 100$ motel there's not much to complain about
Why look for something that has a good deal then complain. Everything was fine.

Room 18 is complete trash! The room smelled like a skunk when we walked in, that was after spending over 5 minutes to get the key to work (which we were told a trick, but it didn't work). There are spots and food all over the wall, looked like mold in the bathroom. We started noticing all the details on Friday night when we returned from a long day at a festival. Went to take a shower, no hot water. Called on Saturday to report and have fixed and received only excuses. Well, arriving Saturday night it was not fixed. The night person (Keith) tried to fix the issue, but no luck and did tell us that they have been having problems. We thought maybe wait until the morning to see if there was hot water. Nope still no water. Sunday was the day we checked out. Nothing fixed. Rude responses to the problem. Run around from staff to fix the problem or who is actually in charge of the crap hole.
Service was horrible when we started acting for the problem to be fixed. The room was horrible. We didn't like anything about our stay here. My husband called it the bates hotel, but we wouldn't be killed in the shower since the water was cold.

The staff were friendly.
Our room was a messy conglomeration of odd stuff. The bed (which was surprising comfortable) blocked a window and almost blocked the door, there was a repurposed set of kitchen cabinets, including the vent for a cooktop that wasn't there. The bathroom had a number of odd devices (perhaps just stored in this room?) I was not courageous enough to use the shower, and never could bring myself to look behind the bi-fold doors in the bathroom. There was a messy pile of building materials outside the door, and even some trash in the one flower box. One of the random paintings in the room was on the floor when we came in. I tried to rehang it, and after a couple of minutes it crashed back to the floor. The breakfast area was small and cramped. We were unable to avoid the smoke smell coming from another guest there. Again, an odd assortment of poor "art". Lobby was filled with stuff. Give me a week to put most of their stuff in a dumpster, and a small budget for paint, and this could have been better.

The bed was half way comfortable, and air conditioner worked good.
The room was very outdated. Very noisy. Smoking was aloud right outside the front doors, so all u could smell was cigarette smoke so u couldn't open your window to let the breeze in. Toilet seat was broken along with toilet paper holder. No hair dryer, and had to wear socks because the floor was so dirty to walk with bare feet. Lights didn't work in room. Room wasn't very clean. Would of canceled room but it was to late already in the evening.

The bed was comfortable.
The bed linens and towels were clean.
Security—door had to be slammed to close and engage the door latch lock.
Toilet seat was broken, found leaning against the wall.
Shower had broken and the hot water knob broke in half when turned on.
Room was small, dingy, no curtains to block light. Venetian blinds inadequate.
A lot of homeless people with their possessions piled outside the rooms.

The parking was good. Melissa was very nice at check in.
We were in unit 1, a "mini suite". It was a very hot day and we couldn't turn on the A/C. I found a gentleman who worked there and he came in and got it working. The A/C was very weak and it lowered the temperature very little, the room never did get cool. On our arrival there were at about 25 or more flies in the room. We killed most of them with the supplied swatter. A spray can of flying insect killer would have been handy. The one wash cloth and two towels in the bathroom weren't sufficient for the three of us. That night we had to sleep uncovered on top of the beds because the A/C didn't cool the room. None of us got a good night's sleep. We won't be back.

Keith and the ladies in the office. I like how they have made us feel welcomed and at home.
It could be much cleaner

The bed was comfortable
It was filthy. Filthy floors, black mold all over the bathroom walls, floors and shower, the refrigerator leaked all over the counter and got our items sitting there soaked, the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, and there were flies and ants everywhere.

nothing
The room and the property was nasty. The front side of the building looks like it wouldn’t be that bad. Then you open the door to a room that’s way outdated, not cleaned very well, and mildew all in the shower. The rooms on the backside are full of druggies and drug dealers. This is definitely not somewhere to stay with kids.
5.0
Location. Big bathroom.
TV flashing. Trash odor. Limited space to move around room.
