it was a lovely place to stay for a night!

My jewelry was left in room and they called us. Honesty! It was an anniversary gift from my husband. Everything about the room was nice, attention to detail, comfortable beds, access to outdoor balcony from room. it’s a beautiful antique inn.

Perfect weekend getaway location and cozy enough for a longer stay.

The property has a great location. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and central to many tourist attractions that are easily driveable. The bed was so comfortable, the room spacious and clean.

Bad experience as they never checked for booking and reserved rooms, they were not prepared to see guest when we arrived

we arrived at the property for our reserved accommodations, the gentlemen ( owner) greeted us -and he was not expecting us! he reached to his wife, and said, we have guests! then, his wife came out of their living room and said, I haven’t checked the online reservations and I was sick, and didn’t look! so, we graciously bowed out, and she agreed to allow us to leave the property and they never charged our room for 2 days as it was refunded. I never stayed at a lodging where they didn’t check for their guest reservations! they were shocked we came and we were shocked they were not responsible for bookings! they offered us to stay, they were going to make our room- it’s was 6 pm! The inn seemed like their living quarters ( all the common areas). it was most bizzard experience! I would never return! the kite he was under construction and visible to guests.

The unkept kitchen and living quarters, beautiful property. they were not expecting guests, they said.. it was there slow season. they asked when we made our reservations, 2 weeks ago our reply!

Pleasant

I pretty colonial house/estate, which I understand dates back to 1740. Location is also very convenient, within walking distance to Glastonbury main street, and that more or less sums up the positives.

I stayed there for two nights, which cost me $650. I only saw the owner(s) on arrival and on departure. The room was not cleaned (or the bed made), which I find unacceptable for that kind of money. Being a very dated room there was quite a bit of dust around, to which I am allergic. All windows were sealed so could not get any fresh air. Really poor value for money.

The inn is stunning, full of unique art and cared for by kind and hospitable hosts. I highly recommend people visiting,

The property is gorgeous. The location is beautiful and there are so many historic colonial style houses in the area. The house is warm, inviting and full of unique art. One of the owners and innkeepers Pat is an artist and you can see her work throughout the house. The inside of the house is absolutely stunning and the outside grounds are lovely as well. It’s a place where you can sit or walk outside and take in the beauty of nature. Our room had the best shower I’ve ever seen in a hotel or B&B. It had beautiful flower artwork and a cool shower head that sprayed in multiple directions. Breakfast was delicious and the table setting was picture worthy! Everything about our stay was fantastic!

Treat yourself and stay here fro several days!

Exceptional property, in an historic home, with all the modern amenities! Loved the gas fireplace, very cozy after a fun day. The massage/rain shower was wonderfully relaxing! Delicious hot breakfast started the day off well. Location is central, close to all shops, restaurants, colonial houses, and walking trails to the Connecticut River. Luxurious linens in a king bed, coffee maker, and fridge were better than home! Owner is an artist, and her work decorates the entire home. A stay here is worth every penny!
