It is a lovely couple who own this rustic and charming rural hotel.
The pool area is good and the pool clean and a great plus to cool down after exploring the beautiful towns around.
Maybe the grill area needs a little update - but we didn't mind at all as we didn't use this facility.

Although the building was built in the ‘700 and refurbished in the 50’s lots of the original features were kept

Delightful, traditional, family-run hotel a few kilometres outside Castellina in Chianti. We had a small apartment on the first floor - comfortable bedroom and another small dining/living room and a tiny kitchenette, that had all we needed for our stay. Easy parking outside the door. Friendly, helpful owners and lovely to eat breakfast outside on the terrace. Good restaurant right next door.
It was perfect for us - we were attending a dinner in a vineyard a few km further up the road and had a car, so the location worked very well. It is, however, a couple of kilometres to Castellina so you do need transport.

Overall our experience was superb. The hosts were exceptional, the rooms were charming and comfortable, and the facilities were great. Breakfast was pretty good, and the hosts clearly put a lot of effort into it.
The location is next to a fairly well-trafficked roadway, so there’s some road noise. While the restaurant next door was very good, it’s the only one within walking distance and it’s not open every night. Be aware of that before having some wine by the pool in the afternoon - you might have to drive to find dinner!

The house, garden and the pool were beautiful and perfectly induced the atmosphere of Tuscany. The hosts were extremely pleasant and always ready to help us. The location is perfect for trips to well-know Tuscany cities and villages. We higly recommend and hope to come back soon!

A lovely old couple has welcomed us at 11oclock in the night waiting for us and showed us our room. Breakfast is fantastic with all homemade products! Next time we will book a bit in advance so we can get one of the fantastic rooms and apartments that they have in the property.
We didn’t have bedsheet on our bed but only a duvet.

The place is beautiful and very clean. You can feel the atmosphere of Chianti and rest by the pool. The hosts are super nice and helpful. Great breakfasts - tasty home made jams.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay here on our road trip. The hosts are very friendly & helpful giving us lots of information and leaflets as to where to visit, where to eat even offering to book a restaurant for us if needed. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning very welcome. A lovely Pool and garden area to relax in. Breakfast was homemade with cakes, pastries and jams as well as cereal, fresh fruit and meats and cheeses. All delicious. A great location within easy reach of Castellina by car and within easy reach of Siena, San Gimignano and the Chianti Towns. A really enjoyable stay in a lovely property.

Stayed 1 night to the Residenza, in the heart of Chianti. The staff are always very friendly and attentive to detail. Neat and very well organized. Breakfast is tasty, i loved it. I'm looking forward to coming back again, maybe in the warm season with the family.
