The room very clean and comfortable except for the very low toilet.

There was no breakfast but did have a cup of coffee.

If the yard was attended to keeping branches picked up, fixing the concrete wall and painting it. A larger toilet that was very low to floor. A handicap toilet would be better.

Food in the restaurant was good, good location close to everything, staff were nice

Room smelled like a hospital, carpet was stained with what looked like sprayed bleach everywhere, aur conditioner didnt work, we had to buy a fan. Staff not available most of the time ( hours). No iron or ironing board in the room. One window didnt open. Chaise lounge was broken.

The owner close the bar on Friday @9 when the bar was packed. He had all the receipts on the bar and wasn’t friendly

Liked the list of options for breakfast

Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. We were given the key early and completed paperwork so we could explore the town with no concerns about the hour of return. Host was gracious and answered our questions.

It was a charming and clean facility.

The room was clean and quiet. It met our needs. We would stay there again. The gentleman who checked me in was friendly. The price was right.

The refrigerator was icing up and the air conditioner was not working the last day. The beds could be updated.

We visit Door County annually but we will never stay here again.

No breakfast offered

Evening dining would not seat us due to staffing. Our party attempted a drink in the bar and were treated poorly and discourteous. We have been at the White Birch other times in the past and enjoyed our meal. We booked a room for 2 nights and our room was fine, but the staff acts like they don’t want the business

Not what I had hoped for 😒

The room was spacious and had plenty of seating and room for my items.

The room was not what I expected. Online I booked a room with a "spa bath" , but came to find it was just a regular tub with jets. It was too small for my tall self to fit to even enjoy. A panel behind the tub was missing. The room smelled like mothballs and "grandpa's old shirt". The room was on the first floor right next to the parking lot so I had to keep my curtains closed for privacy so I couldn't have any natural sunlight and heard everyone's car lock beep. I also heard everyone coming in and out through the main door, especially with the bed right next to the door. The restaurant was closed the day of my birthday to enjoy a nice dinner and the manager/owner was very grumpy. The room was definitely not worth the money and the description was deceiving.

The room door was stuck on the carpet and opened 1/4 of the way to get in the room. The bedding was old with holes in it.

HORRIBLE

It was horrible

There was poop on the toilet seat. There is no hot water..you could catch pneumonia taking a shower and the the whole place smelled like a funeral home. Worst place we have stayed at so far.

Superb

We really enjoyed the quiet location and the pleasant surroundings. The staff were very nice and helpful...enjoyed our meal Saturday night too.

My only complaint were the pillows on the bed, and I forgot to bring my own.

We’ve stayed there in the past, but will not again.

What did I think of breakfast? There was no breakfast.

The last night of our stay, there wasn’t ANYONE at all other than us in the entire hotel. The doors were all unlocked and there wasn’t anyone to ask questions of.

Nobody at reception desk or lobby at all times and at night the front doors to the lobby were open with no staff. The lobby smelled like gas the first two days .

Superb

The room was done in a quasi victorian decor. I thought it was fun. The room was clean and comfortable but needed new pillows on the bed. Saturday nite meal in the attached restaurant was very good. We will stay again if in the sturgeon bay area again.
