Everything was just as expected and more. Loved the Chickens that roamed freely. Also lived the horses. Even though the owners are next door, we never noticed them. Privacy was great. Even the back garden was completely private.

Great property nicely furnished. Host friendly. Having a bottle of milk and a welcome hamper ready.Made a nice first impression. Nice quiet location but a number of small villages a couple of miles away. With pubs and stores. We are already looking at dates to stay again. .

Beautiful property, modern, clean and well equipped in a lovely rural location.

Location was very good for reaching lots of interesting places. Beds were really comfy - including the pillows! Bathroom and showers were fantastic. TV very modern with all the channels needed and the furniture was very comfortable. The whole place was very modern and new but with a very homely feel.

Maybe some information on places to visit/eat would have been good although our host did tell us about some good local restaurants. Perhaps a little more furniture etc on the patio which was a bit basic but I'm nit-picking here. Oh, and watch your head upstairs if you are a little tall!

Wonderfully warm and friendly hosts, so very helpful whilst a delightful breakfast basket, along with milk and juice - a super surprise and bonus too! A perfect stay.

Where to start - what an amazing place to stay! The property had a wonderful "I'm home" feeling as soon as you walk in the door, exceptionally clean, fresh and bright. The beds are super comfy! And all the little touches that really made it home from home - fluffy white towels and robes, milk and OJ in the fridge, cereals in a cute little hamper, tea, coffee and sugar....beautiful patio and garden to sit out on. Loved the big bath - really welcome after a rainy day on the moors. You're only a few miles from pretty Tavistock and all the moors has to offer as well. Antonia is a great hostess - came to check I had everything I needed when I arrived, and nothing was too much trouble. Would I stay again - absolutely!

We were provided with a breakfast basket for our 2 day stay plus tea, coffee and hot chocolate . In the fridge was fresh milk and fruit juice, all from locally sourced providers which was a real treat. There were fresh towels in each bathroom and crisp linen bedding on each bed, this really gave an impression of luxury and attention to detail. There were also small soap packets and loo roll that had been locally sourced. These little touches impressed us a lot. They provided a map to help us with travelling to the property which was extremely helpful and replied quickly to questions about our stay. The house was well equipped and we were impressed to find instructions on how to use appliances if needed. This was a Perfect get away for a couple who want to completely get away from it all for a few days to recharge and relax.

Very Poor phone signal inside the property. But was understandable due to where the property is situated in the village. However if you stood outside you could get some phone reception. Wasn’t a huge issue for us but could be a disappointment for some.
