Complicated properly structure that prevents fire escape hazards

An offer of breakfast on arrival. And maybe an eve meal menu. ?

The hotel is in a wonderful mountain valley near the top of the Pyrenees with spectacular views from every side. The rooms were very comfortable with en-suite bathrooms, which were very clean. The staff were friendly and one spoke English.

Lovely owner (Ana). Central location in Bielsa. Incredibly clean rooms and hostal in general, which is always a great sign. Nice food in the terraza, the hamburguesa completa and patatas cabrales are very nice. We also ordered bokatas (rolls) for hiking for 5 eur and they were excellent, made fresh in the kitchen in the morning. Order them the night before in reception. Overall a basic hostal that some people won't like. If you don't like basic accommodation then don't book it. If you want a clean, good base for hiking or exploring the area around Bielsa, this is to be recommended.

Some guests were noisy with opening and closing Doors. Beds and rooms are basic but functional. Some might not like the basic breakfast (fine for me), coffee, croissant and buns. If you want something different ask the owner beforehand. Parking is tricky in Bielsa but the public car park is a 5 min walk from the hostal. This isn't a problem of the hostal itself.

Within Bielsa there are not that many options, and this is spot in the small historic centre with the few restaurants on walking distance. Most importantly the Pineta valley is just around the corner

Showers over baths are never my favourite!
