Fabulous 2 bedroom apartment, luxurious standard, top location. Views directly onto Royal Mile. Every modern convenience, comfortable beds, 1st floor. Designer fabrics, wallpapers, free wifi, internet tvs. Secure entry. Cosy & comfortable. 250 yards from Edinburgh Castle. This completely renovated 1st floor apartment can accommodate a maximum of 6 persons. There are two bedrooms; 1 twin en suite with TV, one king size double, double sofa bed in livingroom, 2nd shower room with wc. Large livingroom with 2 windows looking directly onto Royal Mile. Kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Bathrooms have under floor heating. There is gas central heating. The property retains great period features; old stone fireplaces, exposed ancient stone walls; and yet provides all modern conveniences and striking decoration. Situated in the historic Old Town of Edinburgh, this is the best place to stay in the city. The Old Town is a World Heritage site. Steeped in history, packed with museums, visitor attractions, specialty shops, restaurants and pubs. Edinburgh castle is 1 minute walk from your front door. This area of the city has a real buzz and is a joy to explore. This apartment is however in a peaceful location late at night with no nightclubs or noisy pubs. This a great place to stay anytime but a prime location during the Edinburgh Festival/Fringe or at New Year.

Just enjoyed packed 4 day visit to Edinburgh. We once lived there so know the city quite well. This flat could not have served us better (3 adults). For location (!!), cleanliness, amenities, comforts, ease, host... can only offer accolades. One huge advantage... just one circular flight up/down, and you exit to the fun of the Jolly Judge! If available again, wouldn't consider anywhere else. Lovely!

What a great apartment right on the Royal Mile just steps from bars, restaurants and Edinburgh Castle. Plenty of room to enjoy a nice breakfast and wine and cheese in the afternoon! It was perfectly appointed with bed linens, towels and a well equipped kitchen. Thank you Paul for such a nice stay!

My very first time in Scotland and we wanted to be in the heart of Old Town to experience it all. This apartment was the perfect location making everything very walkable. The place was nice and clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and we just absolutely loved it!
It was great being able to open the windows for fresh air and look out over the Royal Mile taking in all that the city has to offer.
Paul was a great host and I’d definitely stay here again.

Great spot! Paul was great to work with. The unit is very well appointed and right in the middle of everything on the Royal Mile. Really enjoyed The Tattoo and Fringe Fest, could walk to everything! We will be back!

Such a nice property that is so enjoyable and has all that is needed. Paul was a great host and very helpful. Able to enjoy the antics on the street outside and still have the ability to sit back and enjoy a scotch.

This apartment was perfect for my family of four! Spacious and clean. Paul and Chris were very helpful on many fronts! Also, all our tours met just a couple of feet from our front door! There is also a great pub just down the steps from the apartment. Really everything is right out the front door, but at the same time it is quiet. Also, you are just steps away from Edinburgh Castle! Don’t rent a car during your stay here. You don’t need it! Paul thank you so much for all your help! Folks this is the best place to rent for your vacation in this great city!

We rented the apartment on the royal mile, and had an amazing time. The apartment is unique and beautiful, and has everything you could need for a stay. Paul was so communicative and helpful, and we lacked for nothing. This will be our home base in Edinburgh next time as well. Thank you for everything!

Extremely convenient, the apartment is located in the heart of the city, very close to the castle. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and grocery stores close by. The apartment was a very comfortable size for our family of 4 including 2 full bathrooms (with showers), a small but very functional kitchen, a reasonably sized living/dining room that never felt cramped and 2 separate bedrooms. The old stone walls provided some splendid character. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This property is fantastic -- tucked into a close, up an ancient curved staircase, and with huge views exploding onto the top of the Royal Mile. We loved our stay here. Old Edinburgh is at your doorstep, with all its cobbled charms. Restaurants are a breeze. Getting into the New Town is a cinch if you follow the close down the hill. The physical space is charming and comfortable and spacious. And check-in and check-out were seamless. We will absolutely rent this apartment again when we return to Edinburgh!

If you want to spend time on the Royal Mile, old towne Edinburgh this is the place for you. It is in the heart of everything on the Royal Mile. Wonderful space with that old town feeling! We brought our children (13 and 15) and they loved everything about the experience as well.

Fro the past few months, we were in touch with the owner, Paul, and told him our flight from the US was cancelled and we could not visit Edinburgh. He is holding the deposit for us in hopes we will be able to visit sometime in the future.

Wonderful property. Wonderful location.
This property and it’s location are outstanding. Cozy but enough room for four people. The only drawback is the stairway. Curved and made of stone. But this can easily be overlooked because of the pluses this property offers.

Wow! What a great place right on the Royal Mile.
The whole experience was incredibly easy and stress free. Paul gave us good information about the area and what to expect when checking in. We spent several days in the highlands and knew that once we got to Edinburgh we would be up against the Fringe crowd. The streets were very busy but Paul’s direction helped us navigate our way to the property. When we arrived the apartment was very clean and welcoming. Paul was readily available to answer questions. The apartment is on the Royal Mile so we got to enjoy the music and street performers right in the apartment! No need to have a car as everything is within walking distance. At times it was very convenient to stop by the apartment to drop off bags or just relax and freshen up before going out in the evening. Overall, being at this property made the end of our trip enjoyable and also made us feel more like locals than tourists. I definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent location, well appointed and a great welcome pack. Very comfortable for a short stay in the heart of Edinburgh. Stairs are a little tricky for the less able.
