Bon rapport qualité prix à deux pas de la cité médiévale !

Son positionnement / cité médiévale de Carcassonne , le confort du lit , la surface de la salle de bains

Propreté à améliorer : poubelle salle de bains non vidée, draps lavés mais qq taches encore visibles,table rabattante pour repas moyennement bien fixée et peinture écaillée

Loved it and would definitely come again. Recommended to friends.

Perfect location for access to the Cité, restaurants 10 minutes walk. Easy car access from the autoroute. Everything just worked. Great for an overnight or weekend. I would not stay longer.

Better sitting out space might have been nice but not a deciding factor.

Passable

The location is within walking distance to the medieval citadel and it has free parking. Room is quiet.

Bathroom needs some cleaning as mold can be seen in the grout of the tile. No shampoo and conditioner. Got some mosquitoes in the room. The front yard needs some upkeep since weeds are everywhere.

I understand why everyone mentions the pizza place it is great. The location was a very short walk from the old town. There is a secure car park.

Though it is not stated when you book there are no staff on site. Everything is done via sms and lock boxes. When we arrived the place was abandoned. everything was grubby and shabby, there were still covid notices on the doors, it was clear that no staff had been to the place for longer than it took to make the bed badly in months. Everything in the Kitchen was mismatched and grubby. The sheets weren't ironed and didn't fit the bed properly. There was a jumper and kids sunglasses left in the draws. There were tampons in the main draw, not in a container just loose in their wrappers, it looked like someone had emptied their hand bag. There were also a number of long dark hairs in the draws and one under the pillow. We were told when we got there that there is a 10 euro surcharge for animals and it has to be paid in cash, so we had to find a cash machine. we should have been told about it when we booked (it only says a surcharge may apply) then we would not have had to schlep out in the rain. There is no view, though there could be if anyone had done any gardening in the last two years. Everything in the bathroom was worn out, dirty or broken. There were no facilities on site, even down to the 'free toiletries' = four cotton buds in a dusty packet. There was a grubby bottle of something in the shower, but the label had come off. There was a coffee maker so covered in dust that I could write my name on it and one coffee pod, no milk, no tea. There were no instructions on how to use anything, we don't come from a culture with automatic gates and air conditioning, so I called my french colleague who talked me through everything, which is in fact very simple, but the lack of anyone to ask further added to the feeling of desolation and abandonment.. I expected zombies to come round the corner at any moment. Further - I have now received abusive text messages about the bad review and the owner has demanded that booking.com take it down. Not nice

best hotel on out mini tour of france

great location for the "castle" . liked the apartment so stopped for an extra nite .went to pizza place just up the road on second nite really enjoyed it ... host very helpful

5 minutes walk to the old city.

We didn't see any staff, check in was done by text. Studio was dirty, quilt cover needed ironing. Grass needed cutting. Overall dirty and scruffy. Not an apparthotel

Comfortable room secured parking

Great location with secured parking, owner text us with clear easy instructions to gain entry. Bright room with excellent facilities. Bed was very comfortable.

Needs some large plates and bigger glasses otherwise perfect.

Excellent location! Quiet and offering home comfort

Excellent location adjacent to the historic parts of Carcassone. Brilliant pizza place and bar next door offering panoramic views. Secure allocated parking. Spotlessly clean. Kitchenette and outdoor table. No contact with any staff- the most COVID friendly place ever. We loved it all.

Very good

Private parking right outside the studio. The location is great, just 10 minutes walk to the Carcasonne fortress and still very quiet. The studio is well equipped, it has a large double bed, kitchennette with a fridge, kettle, tea and coffee and a bathroom with a shower.

The studio was not as clean as we would have liked. We found hair in the shower, a dirty towel and dirty sheets.

Very nice and relaxing.

Super apartment They thought of everything: basin for washing, washing rack, hairdryer, well equipped kitchen, a book to read, washing up stuff, wifi and a super comfortable bed. Located close to the fort, yet in a quiet location. Lovely view from the kitchen window.

All was well. The outside light wasn't working, that's all.

Great Location for exploring the Cité

Just a short walk to the Cité of Carcassonne. Parking is available on the premis. Host was very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for eating.

Very good

Great location within easy walking distance to the Cité. Hosts were really friendly and organized and sent us a detailed SMS regarding check-in, gave tips for restaurants etc. Kitchen well-equipped. Space is a bit small and rather dark, but that was actually welcome on a hot summer day.

Cleanliness was perfectly acceptable (bit of grub on the complimentary tea biscuits, toilet brush needs replacing, but no major problems, would stay again).

Ideal stopover

It was ideal for an overnighter. Little terrace outside each room. Excellent situation for walking into the cité medieval. Each room has it's own parking close to the room and the parking was locked. Very clean and comfortable beds. The contactless check in was easy and clear.

Tranquil apartment a few steps away from the centre

Very nice apartment extremely close to the town centre: you can leave your car at the private gated parking of the property and just walk to the centre in 3/5 minutes, which saves an enormous amount of money since the parking near the town is very expensive. They even allowed us to leave the car in the parking lot for a couple of hours after the check out, which was very handy to go have lunch in town before leaving again. The bed was comfortable, there were many amenities, and the staff was helpful in suggesting restaurants and bars to visit.

The only thing that could be an issue is that you must call a French number when you arrive so make sure you have battery and a sim card that allows you to make calls in France. Also the curtains don't block the sun out completely (they do a pretty good job, though) so if you need absolute darkness this could create a problem.
