We had a wonderful time at Barca Country house. We were 12 people all around 30 years old and it was perfect for us. We were blown away by how beautiful the place is. The pool is amazing, the rooms nice, the garden is stunning. Lots of wildlife around. Perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the surrounding nature. The drive to the house was lovely, but you definitely do need rental cars! The closest town, Amelia, is beautiful and a good hour walk away, good to do, has everyrhing you could need.. There is also a really great restaurant (food truck/bar) nearby, "Il food truck!" about a 30 minute walk away, which we enjoyed. Good music, lovely lakeside location, great hosts and delicious cocktails! It was VERY HOT while we were there, which we loved. There is enough shade from parasols and trees to be outside all day. Most but not all of the rooms have fans, so we shared them about. Lovely to eat meals outside under the beautiful walnut tree and have BBQs. We also loved the two dogs and cat that came every day to join us, also on our walks! The caretaker, Fabrizio was very helpful and always replied to Whatsapp messages quickly, communication with the hosts prior to the trip was also excellent. It was the perfect holiday and we will absolutely be back! We are already planning next year's visit. Thank you so much for having us! X

It was bueatiful and really amazing house

We rented Barca Country House with a group of our friends last summer. The house are fully equipped: a beautiful swimming pool, big garden with olive threes and also a ping pong for the kids! The caretaker live a few kilometers and he is very careful with us and always ready to answer questions, make restaurant recommendations and place to visit. There is a Coop in town where you can stock up and there is a BBQ and a table with chairs for outdoor dining. This place is a great base to explore Umbria and Rome. We look forward to returning soon to Barca Country House.
